When the covert infiltrators moving swiftly across the ground noticed a blue-red gleam ignite above their heads, they instinctively tried to dodge.
But it was already too late. As that point of light expanded and spread, becoming a bolt of lightning that filled nearly their entire field of vision as it crashed down, Dragon's Charge had already struck its target.
The Glazed Dragon, wreathed in lightning, slammed into the enemy formation like a colossal hammer wielded by a giant. Layer upon layer of shockwaves spread in every direction like tidal waves. The violent explosion and impact instantly scattered the entire squad, hurling suit after suit of giant steel armor into the sky as lightly as toys.
The few armored suits struck directly were pulverized and incinerated in an instant. Even though their elite pilots ejected in an emergency at the very last moment, the leaking lightning scorched them black as charcoal.
But that was not the end. For some reason, after shattering the infiltrators' formation, the Glazed Dragon did not stop. It crashed directly into the depths underground, like a lightning sword heated to its very limit slicing through butter, smoothly cleaving apart the earth and plunging deep beneath it.
Whether it was the Empire command center observing the scene or the infiltrators themselves, everyone froze for a moment, unable to understand what was happening.
