Treasures and Formations

• Celestial Wheel Shuttle — A formation-breaking treasure whose void runes weaken formations and expose their cores. Its loss drew reprimands from Reed Flame Valley’s headquarters; it was subsequently used against the Taiyin Sacred Ground’s protective formation 368 371 373.
• Void Beast Bone — One of the sect’s powerful foundations, linked to the Celestial Wheel Shuttle. It recalled the shuttle, but then showed an unexpected attachment to Shangqing Sect experts rather than following Yan Ling’s direction 379.
• Return Origin Grand Formation — Combines the power of Reed Flame Valley cultivators. During the confrontation at Dragon Source Residence, it lifted the residence and its surrounding land from Silver Severed City so they could be refined together 350.

Major Conflicts

Dragon Source Residence

Reed Flame Valley moved to take over Duan Wuliang’s Dragon Source Power Leveling business and demanded its Penguin Messaging Jade Slips. Tu Tianyue’s forces surrounded the residence and used the Return Origin Grand Formation after smoke bombs and its defenses frustrated a direct assault. Shattered Ghost Sect forces arrived, defeated the Reed Flame Valley attackers, and exposed the sect’s use of recruits as cultivation cauldrons 350 351 352.

Siege of the Shangqing Sect

Seeking revenge for Tu Tianyue’s defeat and death, Reed Flame Valley sent Fan Ru and three other elders with three thousand disciples to besiege the newly established Shangqing Sect. Stink Bombs weakened the attackers; the Shangqing Sect then sold them an antidote that caused seven days of diarrhea. Although Reed Flame Valley breached the protective formation with the Celestial Wheel Shuttle, Demonic Serpent Vines killed roughly a third of its attacking disciples. Shattered Ghost Sect reinforcements and the Myriad Souls Banner ended the assault 359 361 362 364.

Eight-Sect Alliance

Reed Flame Valley helped propose a larger alliance against the Shangqing Sect. Before its attack, the lost Celestial Wheel Shuttle was used to break the Taiyin Sacred Ground’s defenses. Taiyin Sacred Ground blamed Reed Flame Valley, demanded compensation in spiritual materials, and pressed it to prevent the shuttle from disrupting the alliance’s Ember Heaven Formation 372 375.

Reed Flame Valley sent Yan Ling to retrieve the shuttle, but the associated Void Beast Bone proved difficult to control. Yan Ling was captured, and the alliance’s defeat cost Reed Flame Valley many elders, including Situ Fang. Fleeing disciples were ambushed by the Hidden Mist Alliance; the survivors who surrendered handed over their life souls 379 382 386 387 389.
