The so-called Immortal Venerable realm was divided into three stages: Human Venerable, Earth Venerable, and Heavenly Venerable.
Of the Three Thousand Great Daos, condensing a Dao Fruit from any one Dao allowed one to reach the Human Venerable realm.
After that, one had to cultivate the Dao Fruit, making the Dao within it ever stronger, thereby transforming into an Earth Venerable, then a Heavenly Venerable, and even Above Heavenly Venerable.
Thus, in theory, any of the Three Thousand Great Daos could serve as a path to immortality.
By following any one of the Three Thousand Great Daos, advancing without cease and accumulating continuously, one might knock open the Supreme Immortal Gate and become a true Immortal Being.
Yet reality was—
Of the Three Thousand Great Daos, aside from the Fate Dao, progress in all other Daos became exceedingly slow after condensing a Human Venerable Dao Fruit.
There was a legend that this was because all Three Thousand Great Daos had spread from the Immortal Realm beyond the Supreme Immortal Gate. At the source of each of the Three Thousand Great Daos, an uninjured Immortal Being had long occupied the origin of that Dao.
That meant the Three Thousand Great Daos had long been filled with the wills of Immortal Beings.
Before the Three Thousand Great Daos condensed a Human Venerable Dao Fruit, the path was one of comprehending the profound mysteries of the Dao and condensing Immortal Principles. Such small-scale tinkering could not sense the will of an Immortal Being at all, and so was scarcely affected.
But upon reaching the Immortal Venerable realm and condensing a Human Venerable Dao Fruit, it was no longer small-scale tinkering.
With the support of a Dao Fruit, one had, in a sense, already gained the qualifications to challenge the realm of Immortal Beings.
