History
Founding as the Star Ancient Dynasty
Yang Yu founded the Star Ancient Dynasty on Earth, choosing the name to express a yearning for the stars and remembrance of a primordial age. Its early policy prioritized population, infrastructure, laws, and economic stability over rapid conquest. 25
After silver and iron deposits were discovered, the dynasty entered the Iron Age and began systematic expansion. Yang Yu integrated the captured White Race rather than enslaving them, while consolidating conquered territory through migration, roads, and public works. 26
Formation of the Empire
Following a renewed campaign that expanded its territory to 13.8 million square kilometers, the Star Ancient Dynasty was renamed the Star Ancient Empire in Era 406. The Research Institute was separated from the Cabinet and reorganized as the Star Ancient Academy of Engineering, while state-controlled industrial firms were established to retain control of strategic assets. 34
The Empire entered its first industrial age through gunpowder, steam engines, steel production, and matchlock firearms. 34 35
Interstellar and Dimensional Expansion
In Era 765, the Empire completed its first operational spacecraft and formally became an interstellar civilization. It later developed warships, interstellar stations, genetic technology, psionic engines, Dark Dimension infrastructure, and super soldiers as it expanded beyond the Solar System. 51 53 65 66
After exhausting local resources, the Empire migrated from the Solar System to the galactic center, preserving the Solar System as the Origin Star System. By Era 50,000, it had reached the Level 5 Sequence and prepared to leave the Three-Dimensional World behind. 66
Roughly 600 million years before the present era, the Empire ascended to the Six-Dimensional World as a Level 8 civilization. It fought the Zerg and Elf Race simultaneously, secured the Chaotic Star Region, and became one of humanity's principal powers in the higher dimensions. 265
Ninth-Order Era
The Empire eventually developed Law-Level materials and a Causality Engine, meeting the requirements for Ninth-Order advancement. Its public declaration of Ninth-Order status was accompanied by the formal vassalization of the Beastman, Elf, and Seven Stars states. 345 383
At nearly 1.008 billion years of history, the Empire ended the Star Ancient Era and inaugurated the Emperor's Advent Era, framing the change as humanity's arrival at its peak in the Star World. 525
Government and Society
- Emperor Yang Yu holds supreme authority; the Cabinet, Imperial Military Department, Secretary-General, and ministries execute imperial policy. 358 462
- The Empire maintains strict centralized ownership over major industrial assets, regarding strategic economic control as essential to long-term stability. 34
- The Imperial Academy of Engineering is one of the Empire's most important institutions. Its researchers drive technological advancement from industrialization through dimensional warfare. 34 345
- Star-level Academicians are treated as strategic assets. The Empire considers Five-Star Academicians its “inverse scales” and will launch a Civilization War in retaliation for one being killed. 91
- The Empire preserves its historical record extensively: its transition-era memorial project catalogued the lives of contributors from the earliest tribal warriors through later officials and scientists. 525
Military
- T0-Class Joint Fleets — The Empire's peak conventional fleet formations. A documented force included ten T0-Class fleets of 100,000 warships each; two were considered an overwhelming response even against space pirates. 89 91
- T1-Class Joint Fleets — Major operational fleets used in mass warfare and dimensional defense; a single T1-class fleet can sweep much of the Four-Dimensional Universe. 89
- First United Fleet, “Civilization Burier” — A heavily armed defense fleet equipped with Law-Level rapid-fire railguns, destruction-grade main guns, and Cosmic-Level Destruction Cannons capable of targeting space-time and multiversal structures. 331
- Law-equipped T0 fleets — Though not true Law Warships, their shields, primary weapons, and hull materials reach Law-level standards, allowing them to affect highly stable chaotic space. 174
- Imperial Capital Defense Line — A planetary defense network using Super Macro Arc Space Engines, Super Quantum Spacetime Energy Engines, and Super Quantum Death Ray systems. It is considered prohibitive to attack without Ninth-Level Sequence military strength. 171 174
- Star Fortress — A mobile command fortress with approximately 96 billion light-years of internal space. It can become an independent survival system carrying the Empire's legacy to All Heavens if defeat becomes unavoidable. 293
Relationships
- Yang Yu — Supreme Emperor and founder. He led the civilization from its dynastic period to Ninth-Order status and personally directs major military and diplomatic policy. 25 383

- Bai Mu — Secretary-General. She manages state affairs, presents military and diplomatic plans, and frequently represents the Emperor in government operations. 358 383
- Elf Empire / Elf Kingdom — Initially a military partner against the Zerg. It later became a subsidiary civilization under the Empire and received warships, infrastructure support, and access to Imperial trade. 302 383
- Beastman Empire / Beastman Kingdom — A strategic partner developed through warship sales, industrial construction, and mutual-defense negotiations; later became a subsidiary civilization. 330 383
- Seven Stars Empire / Seven Stars Kingdom — Submitted to the Empire in anticipation of its Ninth-Order ascension and later became a subsidiary civilization. 360 383
- Aolei Empire — Rival human civilization in the Six-Dimensional World. The Empire moved to annex it after uncovering the Aolei Great Emperor's Elf-human heritage and defeating its military position. 127 159
- Zerg — Long-term enemy. The Empire fought the Zerg upon entering the Six-Dimensional World and later coordinated with the Elf Empire to seize multiple Zerg realms. 265 302
- Anti-Star Ancient Empire Alliance — Coalition led by the Mechanical Race and composed of more than 191 Level 8 civilizations at one point; formed to contain the Empire's expansion and Ninth-Order breakthrough. 192
- Star Empire — A suspected Taboo Civilization connected to the Civilization Rise game. Yang Yu fears that the Star Ancient Empire may be used as its pawn or advance agent, though the true relationship remains unconfirmed. 383
