Seeing the once-arrogant Nazgûl forced to dodge his attacks in desperation, Frodo could not help brimming with joy.
Ever since Frodo had left the Shire, the Nazgûl had been hunting him. Eventually, one had stabbed him at Weathertop. Had the Elf Princess not brought him to Rivendell in time, he would have died.
Thus, Frodo loathed the Nazgûl and longed for the strength to protect himself. Now, that wish had finally come true. Compared to that, surrendering his soul after death really was nothing.
"Merry, let's kill this guy!"
Frodo shouted, and electricity lit up Merry's eyes. "Kill him! Let these damned Nazgûl see what us Hobbits can do!"
Merry's words nearly drove the Telekinetic Nazgûl mad with rage. What are you Hobbits good at besides cooking? And now you dare act so cocky in front of me?
"I'll kill you both!"
The Telekinetic Nazgûl ordered his flying dragon to deal with Merry, then used Telekinesis to fly swiftly toward Frodo. Though somewhat nervous, Frodo kept attacking to intercept him.
Meanwhile, Sam thought for a moment, then rushed over to Legolas and asked, "Can you shoot arrows while riding on my back?"
"Shooting won't be a problem," Legolas said, "but the wind's too strong. I can't keep my eyes open."
"That's easy. Mr. Smaug gave me two pairs of Goggles."
Sam handed Legolas a pair of Goggles. Delighted, Legolas immediately put them on. These were excellent. He would have to make them widely available among the Elves.
