Chthon sneered inwardly. He then carefully teleported the treasure to the female commander and happily waited for her to fuse with it and fall into his clutches.
Chthon did not know that the moment the female commander received the treasure, she immediately contacted Andrew and told him about it.

Andrew said disdainfully, "I thought it would be a Magic Array, with subtle alterations hidden inside to quietly plant traps without you noticing. Instead, it's just fusing with a treasure."

The female commander mocked him. Andrew sighed and said, "You have no idea. I made quite a few preparations to deal with Chthon's methods, and this is it? Disappointing. Extremely disappointing.
"Never mind. Send the treasure over. I'll modify it, then you can fuse with it."
The female commander did as instructed. The treasure Chthon had given her was a golden jar. No one knew where he had found it, but it even possessed divinity. As long as coins were placed inside, it would conceal its owner's aura.
"Interesting."
After inspecting the treasure, Andrew carefully made a few modifications. He then sent it back to the female commander and said, "There shouldn't be any problems now. You can fuse with it without worry."
