Hades and Poseidon stared at Zeus in shock. Was this a joke? The three of them had used the Incomplete Destiny Divine Ability together, yet Zeus kept comprehending Rule Abilities while they had comprehended nothing at all. Wasn't that far too unfair?
Zeus looked at his two brothers and said with a smile, "Hades, Poseidon, I am the God King."
Hades and Poseidon understood exactly what Zeus meant. He was taking the opportunity to flex his authority and apply pressure, hoping to become the true leader among the three brothers.
Although the three brothers had grown much closer because of their shared enemy, there was no question that each of them wanted to be the leader.
After hesitating for a moment, Hades and Poseidon chose to remain silent rather than argue back. On one hand, they were wary of Zeus's strength; on the other, they were wary of his scheming. This Zeus was not the decayed Zeus of mythology, but a wise and formidable Zeus.
Whether it was the previous surprise assault on Chthon or the desperate escape that had happened not long ago, both were enough to prove Zeus's brilliance.
Of course, Hades and Poseidon had no idea that Andrew had secretly orchestrated both events. If they knew, they would probably have sneered long ago.
Seeing that his brothers said nothing, Zeus was quite satisfied. He said, "Don't worry. I'm not the Zeus from mythology, and I won't mistreat you. I'll teach you this new Rule Ability, just like last time.
"We'll improve together, defeat the King of Abilities, regain our freedom, and then become the leaders of the Compound V Big Tree. When that happens, I'll be first, and you two will be second."
