"But, King of Negativity, let me make this clear beforehand: I don't know much about Curses. I can only use the Life Rule to help you suppress it as much as possible. The results may not be as good as Chthon's.
"Though Chthon gets bullied by the Mechanical Demon King every day, he truly is an expert on the Curse Path."
"I know. The problem is, he can't be trusted. If I go to him, I'll only become his puppet."
The King of Negativity sighed. "Suppress it first. At the very least, stop things from getting worse. Then I'll slowly think of a way to resolve the Curse.
"The Mechanical Demon King's Curse is truly terrifying. If I weren't the King of Negativity and able to receive massive assistance in the Depths of Hell, I'm afraid the Curse would have already brought me down."
"That's only natural. Our strength is far inferior to the Mechanical Demon King's, and he captured two of your avatars. He refined a Curse using your avatars—how could you possibly withstand it?"
Kaguya Otsutsuki said. The King of Negativity nodded deeply in agreement. Their Compound V Big Trees were currently, at most, at the level of veteran Skyfathers. There was still quite a gap between them and a powerhouse like the Mechanical Demon King.
What a shame. Without these two Curses, I would have reached peak Skyfather before long.
