"Susan, you have a point. The problem is, if we fail, this world will be destroyed."
Dr. Reed spoke, and Susan smiled. "Relax. The Director of S.W.O.R.D. never fails. If he dared to set things up this way, he must be completely confident. We don't need to worry about all that. Just focus on preparing.
"According to the plot, Cassandra will come out to cause trouble soon. We have to stop her, then use her to find Doctor Doom and see exactly what his situation is now."
"That's all we can do now."
The Thing and Human Torch nodded together. Since they could no longer change their current situation, they could only accept reality and do their best to fight the disaster.
"Susan, you seem to have a lot of faith in the Director of S.W.O.R.D."
Dr. Reed sounded a little jealous. Susan said, "An enormous amount of faith. You have no idea how many times the Director of S.W.O.R.D. has saved the world. He's a bit of a womanizer—fine, a huge womanizer—but when it comes to saving the world, nobody can match him."
Dr. Reed grew even more jealous. His woman had fallen for another man, and worse still, she didn't even mind that he was a playboy with other girlfriends.
For heaven's sake, back then, all Dr. Reed had done was dance with a few beautiful women for a while, and Susan had given him the cold shoulder for a month. It had taken him ages to win her over again.
How could the difference in how people were treated be so enormous? It was downright depressing.
As the Fantastic Four began taking action, Andrew told Tony, "Tony, follow the script and wait for the Fantastic Four to come asking for help. Like Gwen and Wade, don't rush
