Once Andrew successfully bound it to himself, the War God spear would belong to him outright. Naturally, the woman in red was unwilling to let that happen.
Besides, although she would take a loss now, she would have a chance to recoup it later—after Andrew finished making his wishes, his soul would belong to her, and the War God spear would return to her hands. That was another important reason she was willing to let Andrew bind it.
