"Doomsday, the bigger picture matters."
Seeing Doomsday's displeasure, the King of Negativity hurriedly persuaded him. Of course, he knew they were all villains, so moral pressure would not work very well. He continued, "If this succeeds, I'll give you compensation in the Main Universe."
"If there's compensation, then we can talk."
Doomsday relented. At that moment, Chthon shook his head. "No. We can't spread our forces any thinner. We must concentrate our strength to fight the Coalition Army of the King of Abilities and Kara. With the strength of Death Base, even with our assistance, we can only delay them for a short while at most—maybe a few hours."
Before the King of Negativity could refute him, Chthon continued, "King of Negativity, I'm not arguing with you out of spite. This is for the bigger picture."
"The support we can give Doomsday right now is limited. At most, you and I can each send an avatar. On Compound V Big Tree's side, only Life Great Tree and Black Dragon can be deployed. The others are either severely injured or occupied with other matters."
"With such forces, we can't even handle the King of Abilities, let alone Kara and Barbara. Those two women are terrifyingly powerful."
"You do have a point."
The King of Negativity thought it over carefully and realized that Chthon was right. Even if they forced Doomsday to hold out, he would not last long. After all, they could offer little support, and Kara and Barbara were far too overpowered.
"How could those two women become that strong? It's completely unscientific."
Doomsday could not help sighing. Then, as if recalling something, he asked, "Wait. Their abilities come from the Small World's boost. If they leave the Small World, will their strength be greatly reduced?"
