"As long as Asgard stands, our hatred will never fade. Asgard, next time, we will destroy you!"
The evil spirit shouted those words before its death. Then its body exploded with a thunderous boom, dissolving into vast clouds of black qi that returned beneath Asgard to await its next awakening.
"Asgard committed too many sins in the past."
Odin sighed and went to help the others seal the two God Kings completely.
Then Odin used Gungnir to open the gates to the Hall of Heroes, and everyone worked together to drive the army of Einherjar back inside.
Dark Phoenix could not be bothered with such trifles. She flew over to Wanda, Susan, Scarlet, and Gwen and declared arrogantly, "Andrew is mine. Leave him yourselves."
"You're the one from the moon? I remember you were one of the X-Men a long time ago."
Wanda studied Dark Phoenix and said, "Andrew really does only like female superheroes. You're powerful, but I won't leave Andrew. I'll stay with him forever."
"I won't leave either."
Susan spoke up too. Dark Phoenix was indeed powerful; her earlier display of disintegrating everything had been terrifying. But Susan had the support of her future son, so she was no weakling either.
Scarlet returned to her original form and said, "No one but Andrew can make me leave him. That includes you."
"So nobody's leaving?"
Gwen hesitated, but did not say she would leave. Somehow, doing so felt like handing the other women an advantage.
Besides, Dark Phoenix's attitude really rubbed Gwen the wrong way.
"I'm not negotiating with you. Andrew will have only me."
Dark Phoenix's gaze turned dangerous as she said coldly, "Back off, or don't blame me for getting rough."
"You think we're afraid of you?"
Wanda and the other three women snorted in unison.
