Adriana said angrily, "I called the Justice League many times. They said they wouldn't get involved in struggles for political power. They also told me that when it came to this sort of thing, it was better to rely on ourselves than on others."
"The Justice League was right. You should rely on yourselves."
Orm nodded in agreement. "Even a bad order is better than no order at all. You don't even have a Resistance Organization right now. Defeating the International Gang may not necessarily be a good thing for you, because order would collapse."
Adriana blinked, clearly not understanding any of it. Her thinking was simple: defeat the International Gang, and they would be free. Everyone could live a good life.
Obviously, despite being middle-aged, Adriana was still a naive woman.
Seeing this, Orm said nothing more. It had nothing to do with him anyway.
Adriana shook her head and continued, "As for the Justice Society, they're even worse. They said Argus didn't approve, so they couldn't interfere."
"Those knockoffs are Argus's lapdogs."
Wade said, "I'll say it again: if you can afford it, the handsome and powerful Master Wade will help you cut down every enemy."
Adriana glanced at Wade and shook her head. "You alone can't stand against the International Gang. Besides, I have no money."
"Sorry for the trouble."
Wade immediately shut up. Adriana and her brother were both speechless. This guy was way too realistic, wasn't he?
"Ma'am, do you have any clues you can provide us with? If not, we'll investigate on our own."
Orm only wanted to complete the mission. He had no interest in anything else.
"Clues?"
Adriana thought for a moment, then said, "I've seen flying motorcycles in the city. Maybe you can find
