Background

Demon first targeted the Van Helsing world as a potentially profitable investment after observing Werewolf Soldiers through a borrowed consciousness. Demon strengthened the soldiers with Dark Magic, granted them shadow-based control, and corrupted Marcus into a puppet while he carried the Feral Werewolf Potion 1334.

Demon’s true body remained in the Van Helsing world’s Hell; the entities acting in the Main World were expendable strands of consciousness backed by demonic power. When Andrew disrupted the initial operation, Demon sacrificed fifty thousand Werewolf souls, discarded the Marcus clone, and shifted into Lucien, whose body already carried Demon’s Dark Magic 1343.

Death later recruited Demon into the Losers Alliance against Andrew, revealing that the Director of S.W.O.R.D. was the Mechanical Demon King and another Lord of Hell. Demon recognized Andrew’s superior command of Hell Power, but continued pursuing conflict with him 1345.

Demon has no single stable observed form, usually operating through possessions, clones, and transformed vessels rather than the true body.

Demon is ambitious, acquisitive, and highly concerned with status. Demon repeatedly seeks paths back to supremacy—whether reclaiming authority over Hell, obtaining the Negative Legion, or becoming the Lord of Negative Energy—while resenting the resources required to pursue those goals 2341 2342.

Despite the pride of a former Lord of Hell, Demon is ultimately pragmatic about survival. Repeated defeats by Andrew create visible fear and battle fatigue, and Demon privately considers surrendering if the alliance’s defeat becomes unavoidable 2574 3125. Demon readily sacrifices subordinates, souls, and even personal power when escape or future advancement is at stake 3117.

Losers Alliance

Demon Descent

Through the Three-tailed Demon King, Demon accepted major sacrifices and descended with a Hell-based transformation. The resulting attack badly damaged Mechanical Angel and even shook Game Space, but Mechanical Angel survived through Time Rewind 1498.

Silent Hill and Hell Politics

Demon funded Alesha’s attempted advancement, competed with the Fallen Demon King for control over her, and participated in schemes to restrain Andrew’s forces. The alliance’s plans repeatedly collapsed because its members distrusted one another and refused to risk their true bodies 1585 1613 1616.

Negative Legion Ambition

After learning of the Negative Aura connected to the Van Helsing world, Demon sought to create a soul-bearing duplicate that could become Lord of Negative Energy.
