Atom Smasher seized the opportunity to grow, bringing his fist down on Black Adam like a small mountain. At the same time, Cyclone raised her hands and blew sand into Black Adam's eyes with fierce winds.
Surrounded, Black Adam roared and burst through the golden crystals with brute force. Then his fist, wreathed in dazzling lightning, met Atom Smasher's.
A thunderous boom rang out, and shock waves churned violently around them. Adriana nearly lost her footing.
Atom Smasher's enormous body staggered backward. Then he fell off the ruins, crushing the buildings below as pedestrians cried out in alarm.
"On Earth, I am invincible."
Having repelled the Justice Society's assault, Black Adam hovered in the sky and made his arrogant declaration.
Sealed away for five thousand years, Black Adam had no idea what the world had become, much less that even the villains had been forced to join forces.
The Old Mage snorted. "Arrogant fool. Shazam, join the fight. We must seal him away again. Otherwise, with his arrogance and brutality, he's bound to cause a catastrophe."
"Me too?"
Shazam blinked, clearly lacking confidence. The Old Mage glared at him in exasperation. Gritting his teeth, Shazam raised both hands and blasted two enormous bolts of lightning at Black Adam.
"Let me see what makes you worthy of being a successor."
Black Adam snorted and unleashed lightning of his own. The four bolts collided fiercely in midair. Shazam's lightning quickly collapsed, and Black Adam's bolts struck him hard, sending him flying.
Naturally, lightning used to kill people was a far cry from lightning used to charge a phone.
Black Adam was about to pursue him when Hawkman, Doctor Fate, and the others attacked again. Black Adam dodged Doctor Fate's attack, flew forward, and grabbed Hawkman by the neck, hammering his head with
