Nick Fury let out a breath. After thinking for a moment, he asked Doctor Serizawa, "King Kong's been doing well lately, right? He and I are old rivals. Back then, I fought him on Skull Island and nearly burned him to death."
Vivian was stunned. She could not help asking, "Didn't King Kong beat you until you knelt and begged for mercy?"
"When did I ever beg for mercy? Kneel and beg for mercy?"
Nick Fury asked in shock and fury. Back then, he had indeed lost to King Kong because of his teammate's betrayal, but he had not begged for mercy. He had remained standing, ridiculously straight at that.
Come to think of it, that bastard who betrayed him back then looked a lot like Loki. Even their hairlines were identical.

Doctor Serizawa hesitated before saying, "After you knelt and begged for mercy, King Kong took pity on you and decided to spare you."
