Chapter Summaries

Howard used the Mysterious Fossil and R gas to carry out his plan to merge human intelligence with a Pokemon body, while Wade and his allies tried to stop him. The chapter ended with Howard and Mewtwo apparently switching bodies, leaving Howard celebrating inside Mewtwo’s body.

• A glowing door drew Glasses Man and the other Light Bar patrons into a snowy forest, where a faun told them they were in Narnia and were prophesied to defeat the White Witch.
• The office workers followed the faun toward his home, but snow wolves cornered them by a frozen waterfall; when the water began thawing, the faun urged them to jump as the wolves lunged.

Andrew arranged for Frank to go to the Space Station, while the operation at Grayburn Academy found that Bruce Banner no longer had Hulk cells. Tony answered Rhodes's distress call and was surrounded at a Hammer Industries warehouse by Obadiah, Ivan Vanko, and their forces.
