Jill flew into a rage at his words. What, I don't count as human? Rather than waste her breath, she raised her gun and fired at Dr. Isaacs.
Dr. Isaacs gave a contemptuous smile and effortlessly dodged the bullets, just like Neo in The Matrix. Then he raised his hand, his arm turning into a tentacle that lunged at Jill to bite her.
Jill was horrified, but she had no time to dodge. At the critical moment, a magical shield appeared in front of her, blocking Dr. Isaacs's tentacle.
Over a thousand people around them rose to their feet at once, glaring menacingly at Zatanna's group.
