Wang Nanxuan established Rebirth Hell and expanded his influence while the Iron Man battle made his supernatural interventions public. As Deacon Frost and Doctor Lizard launched threats against New York, Wang recruited Blade and Whistler and the city descended into panic.

• Wang Nanxuan entered Earth, subdued Blackheart and the Three Demons, took the San Venganza Pact from Carter Slade, and negotiated with the Ancient One to establish Rebirth Hell using voluntary soul contracts.
• Wang Nanxuan traded with Mephisto and Doctor Doom, built Rebirth Group, recruited Susan Storm and Howard, and pursued research into mutant suppression and Ghost-powered technology.
• During the battle between Tony Stark and Obadiah, Wang Nanxuan saved hundreds of civilians through Contracts, while Howard and Trask led the Peace Knights in rescuing people, and Tony later publicly declared that he was Iron Man.
• Wang Nanxuan confronted Nick Fury, then investigated reports of vampires after J. Jonah Jameson showed him evidence and Blade attacked vampires at an underground bar.
• Wang Nanxuan marked Gwen Stacy and followed vampire activity as Deacon Frost rejected the Vampire Council and planned to overthrow it and declare war on humanity.
• Doctor Connors became Doctor Lizard after injecting a potion mixed with vampire blood, and Wang Nanxuan helped Gwen investigate the ruined Osborn Group laboratory and retrieve the potion data.
• Deacon Frost destroyed the Vampire Council and captured Blade, while Whistler accepted a bargain in Rebirth Hell and awoke as a silver robot, and Wang Nanxuan then recruited Blade and assigned him and Whistler to hunt vampires.
• Deacon Frost sent vampires to attack humans as Doctor Lizard unleashed Lizardmen and prepared to spread a transforming mist across New York, while Jameson broadcast an attack and Iron Man urged S.H.I.E.L.D. to act.

Wang Nanxuan built his forces in Rebirth Hell while New York faced the Blood God Lizard, Drakov’s revolt, and Magneto’s campaign against Mutants. Magneto activated his conversion device in Times Square, but Andrew intervened, freed Tony, Logan, and Psylocke, and cut the Tower in half.

• Wang Nanxuan and the heroes fought the Blood God Lizard, while Gwen’s antidote mist cured the Lizardmen and Blade and Whistler continued hunting vampires.
• Wang Nanxuan saved Frank Castle’s family, recruited Frank as Hell’s Punisher, and helped Natasha find Drakov, then claimed her soul under their contract and brought the Black Widows to Rebirth Hell.
• Yelena used Trask’s replicated Leech Factor to cure Mutants in exchange for their souls, drawing them to Times Square as Professor Charles and Magneto investigated.
• Andrew beat Magneto in Times Square, then revealed his role in the Mutants’ restorations to Professor Charles and fought Dark Phoenix in the Illusion Realm.
• Magneto captured Tony Stark, dismantled the Statue of Liberty into an Iron Fortress, and brought the Brotherhood’s conversion device to Times Square.
• As Magneto activated the device, Yelena and the Black Widows offered frightened civilians Hell contracts, while the X-Men, S.H.I.E.L.D., and other allies battled the Brotherhood.
• Andrew sent Red Devil to Rebirth Hell, freed Tony, Logan, and Psylocke from their bindings, and cut the Tower in half with Black Flame.

Andrew gathered contracts and intervened as Hulk, the Military, and the Abominations plunged New York into chaos. The Abominations fell to Andrew, but Obadiah, Ivan, and Winter Soldier escaped, while Howard revealed that Tony’s father had been murdered.

• Andrew defeated Magneto, secured his soul through a Contract, and left with Psylocke as the Tower collapsed.
• Andrew protected Gwen from Purple Man, while General Ross and Norman Osborn pursued experiments that led to Hulk’s rampage at Calvo University.
• Andrew separated Hulk from Doctor Banner and gave Banner a younger body, while Tony’s expo appearance was interrupted by Ivan Vanko’s attack.
• Obadiah and Ivan ambushed Tony at Hammer Industries, but Psylocke, the X-Men, Spider-Man, and Wade joined the fight as Blonsky and four soldiers became Abominations.
• The Abominations rampaged through Manhattan, while Andrew drew civilians into the Illusion Realm and Banner regained Hulk’s form with his mind intact.
• The warehouse battle ended in a massive explosion, and Obadiah and Ivan fled toward Manhattan as Andrew evacuated workers and civilians.
• Andrew appeared on Broadway Avenue and killed Abominations Two, Three, Four, and Five with a curving Hellfire Bullet.
• Obadiah and Ivan escaped under cover of smoke and Winter Soldier fled through the sewers, while Howard told Tony that his father had been beaten to death.

Mystique’s plan to use an orbital weapon was stopped, but the crisis drove anti-Mutant backlash and helped Andrew secure Soul Pacts. Magneto then led a mass breakout from Island Prison and attacked Brooklyn, where the heroes were left fighting the prisoners and their allies.

• Hulk and the Avengers defeated Blonsky, while Trask escaped with the Peace Knights and General Ross faced public blame for the destruction.
• Andrew acquired Hammer Industries and assigned The Leader to research cures, while Tony investigated Howard’s death and Reed prepared to reconcile with Susan.
• After S.H.I.E.L.D. seized the Loom of Fate, Mystique allied with Sloan’s assassins and planned to hijack Stark Industries’ Space Shuttle and threaten Earth with orbital Tungsten Rods.
• Mystique’s group kidnapped Tony and the Space Station crew, but Andrew learned of the plan and helped Professor Charles reach the station, where Charles stopped Mystique before she could activate the weapon.
• When a Tungsten Rod threatened Washington, Andrew sent the rods into Mephisto’s Hell and offered Soul Pacts to people seeking protection, while the disaster intensified anti-Mutant hostility.
• Mystique and Magneto escaped Island Prison with more than a thousand prisoners, and Magneto led them toward New York as S.H.I.E.L.D. and the heroes prepared to defend Brooklyn.
• Magneto’s forces reached the Brooklyn docks and attacked the heroes, while Sabretooth revealed that Wolverine was his brother and the fighting spread across the district.
