Immortal Kang used a bloody conference-room massacre to seize control of the Mysterious Organization and become its Speaker. After consolidating power with a quiet purge, he left the organization united under his leadership.

• Immortal Kang ordered Box and the Neutral Faction to lead the charge into the conference room after learning the higher-ups inside were killing each other.
• Box and his group entered a room littered with bodies, where Big Fatty attacked and killed Box.
• Immortal Kang had arranged for Box to die so the Neutral Faction would stop questioning his role in the massacre and fall in line.
• Immortal Kang killed the two surviving, crazed higher-ups and was elected the Mysterious Organization's new Speaker.
• Immortal Kang purged the second-generation higher-ups' most loyal supporters and brought the organization under his control without disrupting its operations.

Immortal Kang took control of the Mysterious Organization to pursue the Perfect Doomsday Gene, while the King of Negativity searched for two approaching Pocket Dimensions. As Chthon and the others prepared to investigate, Andrew’s forces promoted the King of Abilities as Miami’s savior.

• Immortal Kang told the King of Negativity he had secured Space ability users and planned to devote the Mysterious Organization’s resources to Doomsday Gene research.
• The King of Negativity went to a secret chamber, compelled the Space ability users to obey, and used them with his Space-element Negative Commanders to search for two Pocket Dimensions.
• The two Pocket Dimensions were approaching Earth and would open their Secret Realms when they made contact with the planet.
• Chthon and the others prepared to investigate the Sea Fortress as soon as they were ready.

Andrew established himself as Miami’s new master, confessed to the Sea Goddess, and began a relationship with her. He then sent a clone to Mary and Betty, asking them to remain in Miami while he left to deal with Chthon and the others.
