Background

Tian Yuanli is the Tian Yuan Family's representative for its new generation of Awakened. The family has controlled Jingting Private Aristocratic Academy for two thousand years, and her position as Student Council President was intended to develop the leadership qualities expected of a future family head. She was also the only member of her generation permitted to contact the family's long-lived leader directly. 51 52 55

Before meeting Xi Shenlian, Tian Yuanli deliberately avoided him because his reputation suggested a newly empowered and troublesome Awakened.
