He was in a dream.

Rorschach clearly sensed it. At this moment, he was like a ghost, passively watching everything unfold:

A forest that blotted out the sky and sun. Giant Trees toppled one after another, while others burst from the earth. Burning meteors rained from the sky, yet strangely, they were blocked by seemingly fragile canopies.

Burning leaves scraped against the standing trunks, trembling and shrieking. Together with the mournful groans of main trunks being crushed, the entire forest echoed with the cries of birds and beasts beneath this backdrop.

His viewpoint rose involuntarily. Rorschach went from looking up at the forest of Giant Trees to looking down upon it, his vision filled with scenes close to the apocalypse.

At the boundary between heaven and earth, the forest's destruction and rebirth occurred at once. It seemed two forces were locked in a fierce tug-of-war.

A dark green beast rose at the center of the forest and roared at the sky. In answer came an even more concentrated, violent barrage of falling fire.

A howl more terrifying than that of the beast king was drowned out by thunderous explosions tearing through the air.

The giant beast was scorched. Purple-black tainted blood seeped from its torn wounds, which then healed at terrifying speed, sprouting excess flesh.

Every injury made the beast more hideous and terrifying. Likewise, every time the canopy recovered and filled in, the newborn Giant Trees became more chaotic and rampant. The trees around the beast had already transcended the bounds of plants, transforming into thick tentacles that lashed at the sky.

The power in the sky seemed to realize that the beast and forest were mutating for the worse. The rain of fire ceased, until a golden beam pierced the beast and continued to burn it.
