Rorschach stared at the water and slowly said, "Can't we leave?"

"The surge of the Boundless Crystal Sea has arrived. There is nothing you can do."

A gaunt, slender hand extended from beneath the grass-leaf robe. A finger touched the water, and the image drew closer. Rorschach saw pink crystal grains filling the sky, whirling like a sandstorm. The moment they touched the ground, they collapsed into even finer specks of light. Worse still, the soil itself warped, liquefying or bursting apart. It looked somewhat like the Earth Element Rorschach had activated, but spread across the land, it was as if the earth itself were boiling.

A small beast appeared in the image. It tried to dig a burrow to hide from the "sandstorm," but crystals soon clung to it, dyeing its fur pink before its body began to swell. Crystal grains continuously struck its body and collapsed. Parts of it swelled while others festered and caved in, followed by pus and tumors.

In the end, the beast's original form was completely unrecognizable. Only a mass of vivid pink flesh remained, constantly writhing and evaporating, collapsing into tiny points of light just like the falling crystals. At the very end of the evaporation, a small cluster of pink light gathered together and bounced about blankly before vanishing into the depths of the valley.

Rorschach looked at the clusters of pink light surrounding him, then raised his head toward the towering deer-headed creature. "You knew we came here. You also knew we couldn't go back."

"Do not be angered. I can only speak with you in your dreams and cannot warn you in time. But outsiders have their own chance of survival."

The water shifted again.

A complex design took shape, formed from thick, rough lines piled together in apparent chaos.
