Ling Qingzhu entered the Ancient Tomb Residence alongside Lin Langtian, Wang Yan, and Qin Shi. Riding the Azure Sky Lotus, she broke the tomb’s seal after the others had exhausted much of their Yuan Power. Inside, she encountered Wu Yun and began refining the Nirvana Heart. The Tomb Residence Master’s arrangement forced the pair into dual cultivation through the Yin Yang Twin Lotus. 74

Afterward, humiliated and enraged, she pursued Wu Yun across the wilderness. Although her attacks wounded him, she repeatedly stopped short of killing him. His resourcefulness, Bai Yun’s loyalty, and his ability to survive her techniques gradually changed her assessment of him. 75 76

Ling Qingzhu ultimately spared Wu Yun and imposed a three-year condition: he had to win the Hundred Dynasties War championship before he could be considered qualified to pursue her. She also demanded that their experience in the Ancient Tomb remain secret, fearing retaliation from her sect if her lost purity became known. 78 197

Three years later, she witnessed Wu Yun become champion of the Hundred Dynasties War. Though she still insisted on secrecy, she acknowledged his growth and privately maintained contact with him. 196 197
