Background

Little Mink first appears as a weak, purple-black Heavenly Demon Mink spirit residing in Lin Dong's Stone Talisman. Lin Dong initially mistakes him for a large black rat, an insult that immediately provokes Little Mink's pride. Because he has lost his body and is exceptionally vulnerable, he demands that Lin Dong hide his existence from Wu Yun, whom he suspects may covet his demonic spirit. 39

Despite his arrogance, Little Mink begins assisting Lin Dong in exchange for a promise to seek treasures capable of restoring his Demon Spirit. He claims to have once been a “Number One Mink” and offers guidance so Lin Dong will not fall too far behind Wu Yun. 58

Wu Yun's rescue of Little Mink from Lin Langtian changes his attitude.
