Le Yu took Qian Yuliu’s place in the Statistics Department, helping crush Lin Jinyao’s group while keeping his identity as White Night’s undercover agent hidden. After meeting Yin Yinyin and learning a mole had infiltrated White Night, Le Yu agreed to help expose the traitor, and the plan began as Lin Xue confronted him.

• Le Yu inherited Qian Yuliu’s body and memories, discovered his death-based abilities, and joined Chen Fu at the Statistics Department.
• Lan Yan’s raid on Lin Jinyao’s residence exposed Le Yu as the suspected mole, but Li Shijie’s ambush and fight with Kui Zhao shifted the confrontation.
• Le Yu shot Lin Jinyao to prevent him from revealing Qian Yuliu’s identity, then arrested suspected Anti-Light members and fought Mu Feihong at the academy.

Le Yu survived the Lin Family revenge duels, learned White Night planned a coup in Star Engraving Prefecture, and joined Yin Yinyin’s attempt to assassinate Dong Heng. After the operation left Le Yu badly injured, he became an inspection officer at Twilight Gate, where White Night planned to exploit his notoriety to move a firearms convoy through lockdown.

• Lin Xue, Gao Jin, and Xia Lingo challenged Le Yu to revenge duels, but he defeated them and spared Lin Xue before killing Lin Xue'en, who had arranged a sniper attack.
• After recovering in the hospital, Le Yu learned from Lan Yan that White Night had infiltrated the Statistics Department, while Qian Yuya refused to leave Star Engraving Prefecture and promised to stay with him.
• As Ding Yi and Lu Zhong struggled for control of the city, Le Yu joined Yin Yinyin’s plan to assassinate Judicial Department Director Dong Heng and disguise the killing as Lu Zhong’s work.
• Le Yu and Yin Yinyin attacked Dong Heng at the dance hall, but Deputy Director Kui Zhao intervened, and Yin Yinyin used Kui Nianruo as a hostage while Le Yu drew Kui Zhao away.

Le Yu helped White Night seize Star Engraving Prefecture, but Lan Yan and Yin Yinyin’s betrayals led to his death and rebirth with the Soul-Cleansing Demonic Sword. He escaped north, only to be captured by slave traders bound for East Sun District.

• Ding Yiyu’s convoy forced its way through Star Engraving Prefecture’s gate, and Qian Yuliu beat Ding Yiyu before Lan Yan identified the Saint’s Relic in his carriage.
• Yin Yinyin recruited Le Yu to investigate the Saint’s Relic, while Le Yu sent Qian Yuya to Flame Capital and learned White Night planned to seize the prefecture.
• White Night launched its uprising, but Lan Yan killed Ding Yi and turned against the rebels, while Le Yu returned to the slaughterhouse to confront Kui Zhao.
• Kui Zhao killed Chen Fu, and Le Yu fought him until Yin Guyue shot Kui Zhao and revealed that Lan Yan had arranged his death.
• Yin Yinyin stabbed Le Yu, confessed that he had killed him to conceal his dealings with Lan Yan, and Le Yu died before waking beside Qian Yuliu with the Soul-Cleansing Demonic Sword.

Le Yu entered Jing Zhengwei’s life, confronted the slave trade in the Jing fleet, and tried to keep his power from turning him into the people he opposed. Yin Yinyin’s crimes and a new White Night assassin’s grudge came to light as Le Yu returned to Jing Garden and faced his family.

• Le Yu was captured and taken to a guarded mine, where Yin Minghong freed him and revealed himself as the Ghost Assassin.
• Le Yu joined Yin Minghong’s plan to kill Jing Zhengwei, but his attempt failed when Jing Zhengwei revealed that she was a woman and shot back.
• Le Yu killed the assassin, punished Boss Huo’s trafficking gang, and returned to Profound Candle Prefecture, where Steward Shen executed Shuangye for helping Rongyao escape.
• Yin Minghong met Yin Yinyin, who admitted killing Qian Yuliu and offered White Night intelligence and a possible new base.
