Le Yu’s struggle to stop the National Salvation and Relief Society’s plan collided with a demonic uprising across Radiance. The Society completed Holy Sword Huiyao, but Cha Shiyin seized it, while Weixiao’s forces pushed the border passes and Yan Capital into chaos.

• Le Yu and Ning Xinyuan were ambushed by Wuzhiqi, and Le Yu survived the fight by taking over Wuzhiqi’s body and reaching the Pinnacle Realm.
• Le Yu brought Qin Leyin and Ning Xinyuan to the underground hall, where the Society’s allies prepared to use the sword sheaths’ imprints to summon Holy Sword Huiyao.
• The princesses learned the sword sheaths had been captured and persuaded the Sword Bearer to let them leave the academy to find them.
• Le Yu provoked Zong Taiji to disrupt the ritual, then fought him as the Society’s forces went to meet Radiance’s Martial Pillars.
• Weixiao bound the seven Martial Pillars with the Blood Essence Stone, fought Cha Huan, Yu Ke, and Xie Chenyuan, and was brought down before declaring his victory destined.
• Lan Yan’s plan to trap the Blood Source Army at Nanming Pass collapsed into a night of betrayal and mass transformation as Yin Guyue’s troops attacked.
• Le Yu learned that Sea Wave Powder could trigger demonic transformations and raced to seize Holy Sword Huiyao, but Cha Shiyin took it from the completed ritual.
• Weixiao revealed that the border passes had fallen and Yan Capital was crippled, while Ming Jiejin identified himself as the Häagen-Dazs patriarch and the Necromancer Cult’s 422nd pope.

Ming Jiejin’s schemes ended in his death, while Cha Shiyin refused to save Flame Capital without a reason to care for its people. Ming Shuiyun chose to wield Huiyao and ascend the throne, leaving Le Yu imprisoned until Qing Lan reunited with him and accepted his true identity.

• Ming Jiejin revealed the Necromancer Cult’s plans and demanded Cha Shiyin’s Undying Heart, then died after Cha Shiyin survived their battle and the Radiant Stone cannon blast.
• Le Yu killed Wuzhiqi after using him to drive the Soul-Cleansing Demonic Sword through Le Yu’s throat, while Smile sacrificed himself to send the Blood Essence Stone to Shi Pantou.
• With rebel forces advancing on Flame Capital, Cha Shiyin told the court and the seven Palace Masters that saving the city required a sacrifice and that Huiyao’s wielder would lose much of their lifespan.
• Ming Shuiyun decided to wield Huiyao and ascend the throne, believing two swings and roughly ten years of life were enough to take responsibility for Qin Leyin.
• Cha Shiyin sent Le Yu to the Eightfold Blood Prison after explaining that Ming Shuiyun had chosen her path and asking whether Le Yu’s feelings were shaped by the Holy Sword Imprint.
• While Le Yu languished in prison, Qian Yuya brought Qing Lan to see him, and he revealed how Rebirth Through Death had made him Jing Zhengwei and then Qin Leyin.
• Qing Lan embraced Le Yu and told him she loved him regardless of his appearance.
