A faint smile appeared on Chen Fan's lips. "If slashes are useless against you, then why is there a scar on your face? That looks like it was left by a blade, doesn't it? Don't tell me it happened before you ate the Devil Fruit."

Crocodile's expression changed. The scar on his face was the greatest shame in his heart, yet Chen Fan had exposed it right in front of him. He could not help but rage, "Brat, you've truly angered me this time. I'll show you real terror!"

Crocodile pressed his right hand against the ground. The terrain began to change, and huge cracks opened one after another.

"Oh no! I'm going to fall!" Chen Fan shouted, looking utterly terrified as he really did fall into one of the cracks.

"Ha ha...! Brat, be buried by the sand! This place will be your grave! With strength like yours, you actually thought..." Before Crocodile could finish, Chen Fan slowly flew out of the crack.

Chen Fan wiped away nonexistent sweat from his forehead and let out a breath. "Whew... Good thing I can fly."

Crocodile was clever enough to understand that Chen Fan was toying with him. It seemed Chen Fan had been mocking him ever since they first met. As one of the Seven Warlords of the Sea, being played by a mere rookie pirate was something his pride could not tolerate. Chen Fan's repeated provocations made Crocodile want to kill someone like never before...
