"Kid! Who are you?! How dare you come ruin my plans!" Crocodile turned his gaze toward Chen Fan.

Chen Fan curled his lip. "Hey! Come on, even if you're trying to show off, don't lay it on so thick, okay? You either know or you don't. What's the point of saying all that? Does it make you seem important or something? Your bounty's only 81 million Beli. Mine is One Hundred Million Beli."

"I see! So you're Chen Fan, the guy with a One Hundred Million Beli bounty. Then Mr. 1 and the others failed their mission. Useless trash!"

"How cruel. I almost feel sorry for them. Their own boss doesn't trust them. If I were them, even after dying, I'd come drag you down to hell with me!"

"Trust? That was never there to begin with! I've never trusted anyone!" As he spoke, he reached out with his right hand toward Chen Fan.

"Whoosh...!" Chen Fan swiftly drew his other sword with his free hand and blocked Crocodile's attack. Crocodile's right hand could use dehydration, absorbing the moisture from anything it touched.

"Not even one person you can trust. How pitiful. Is this what it means to be one of the Seven Warlords of the Sea? Are you really happy?" Chen Fan sighed, seemingly pitying Crocodile. In truth, it was just a bit of malicious amusement. He pitied Crocodile? Who would pity him? He was no saint.
