Background

Theresa was created in a laboratory as a synthetic human, combining human and Honkai Beast cells. Otto Apocalypse, her grandfather and Schicksal's Bishop, told her that defects in her construction prevented her body from growing further. Though she possessed an exceptionally strong anti-Honkai bloodline and became a powerful warrior, she was feared and treated as a monster by others in the organization. 29

Cecilia of the Saniate family was the first person to treat Theresa with kindness. Theresa came to see Cecilia as the first person she genuinely wished to protect, but lost both Cecilia and the person she had promised to protect when twelve Honkai Energy fission bombs were launched. 29

After living in grief, Theresa reunited with Cecilia's daughter, Kiana, two months before the Senba Academy incident. She regarded protecting Kiana as her chance to fulfill her promise to Cecilia. 29

As headmaster of St. Freya, Theresa admitted Sheng Jiu as the academy's sole male student after he demonstrated 95% Honkai Energy compatibility. 1 2

Theresa has a very short stature, white hair, and a youthful, childlike voice; her height is sufficiently slight that Sheng Jiu initially fails to notice her while she is seated behind her desk. 2

Personality

Theresa balances a childish, easily embarrassed side with the responsibilities of a commander and headmaster. She secretly reads Hovo's Great Adventure in her office, reacts angrily when caught, and becomes flustered when her lack of administrative skill is exposed. 2 32

She is fiercely protective of her students. Theresa scolds Kiana and Sheng Jiu for stowing away aboard the Hyperion, but permits them to remain after judging that sending them back would be dangerous. She also directly intervenes when Rita pressures Sheng Jiu about joining Headquarters. 25 36

Her compassion extends even to enemies. At Senba Academy, she attempts to end Yunna's suffering after recognizing that the girl's consciousness remains intact beneath Honkai erosion. 26

Suspecting that a Pseudo-Herrscher or worse has emerged in Changkong City, Theresa secretly travels there aboard the Hyperion. Kiana and Sheng Jiu follow her, and she reluctantly allows them to remain under her orders. 19 22 25

Senba Academy Incident

At Senba Academy, Theresa discovers Yunna, a Pseudo-Herrscher controlling lethal vines. Her attempt at mercy becomes a trap: Yunna poisons and severely wounds her. 26

Yae Sakura's core restores Theresa and empowers her to fight. In her transformed state, Theresa uses Judas's Spirit Blade Style to destroy Yunna and the vine mass, then saves Sheng Jiu from fatal Honkai erosion. 30

Schicksal Headquarters and Far East Reinforcement

Theresa travels to Schicksal Headquarters to report on the Pseudo-Herrscher mission and oversee checks on Jueying. She later confirms that Otto has supplied the Far East Branch with twenty Demi-God Machine mechs after Sheng Jiu raised its lack of equipment. 32 36

Manila Rescue and Nine Nether Expedition

Theresa assigns Sheng Jiu, Kiana, Yae Sakura, and Bronya to conduct search and rescue in Manila before a planned fission-warhead strike, while she remains aboard the Hyperion to provide fire support. 38

She later authorizes the team to investigate Nine Nether beneath the East Sea and grants temporary access to Third Generation General-Purpose Armor for the deep-sea mission. 47 48
