History

Honkai Beasts devastated Changkong City during an earlier outbreak, leaving Sheng Jiu as the sole survivor of his orphanage. The attacking creatures slaughtered civilians, while the city’s defenders were eventually overwhelmed by the lack of reinforcements. 1

A simulated historical recreation of Kallen Kaslana’s execution featured a swarm of Honkai Beasts released by Otto Apocalypse to create chaos. Sheng Jiu, Kiana, and Kallen fought to protect civilians despite lacking anti-Honkai weaponry; the virtual Kallen was fatally wounded while shielding a child. 12 13

A major beast tide later assaulted Changkong City’s defense line. St. Freya Academy deployed alongside the Schicksal garrison, where its students fought Assault-, Knight-, Clawed Soldier-, and Tank-type creatures. A Herrscher of Honkai emerged after the Tank-type’s defeat, then moved toward Kiana and Miyamoto Rin. It severely injured Sheng Jiu before Fu Hua extracted a crystal from its body and killed it. 15 16 17

Manila suffered another large-scale Honkai incident, prompting a Far East Branch search-and-rescue deployment before a planned Honkai Energy fission-warhead strike. The team fought smaller beasts while rescuing civilians, then encountered an Emperor-class Temple-type Honkai Beast. Although the group discovered its weakness to fire and destroyed its shield with Supernova Slash, the creature regenerated; Rita Rossweisse ultimately killed it. 38 39 41 42 43
