The few abandoned cars stranded in the Gobi Desert were covered in dust. Five pioneers used the wrecked vehicles as cover, constantly watching the road.
When they saw a vehicle approaching, a hint of delight appeared on their faces.
A thin pioneer holding binoculars turned to a slender figure with lizard-like skin and said,

"Heh. The military base up ahead needs someone to draw away the zombies anyway. Whether it's you or someone else makes no difference to me."
The Lizardwoman flicked her slightly forked tongue. As her slit pupils focused, she instantly got a clear look at the two people on the highway.
"Not bad-looking."
A hint of interest appeared on the Lizardwoman's face, and the others' hearts sank.
"Bring them over."
"Yes."
A man with a backpack and an Assault Rifle hurried over, waving Tao Yu and Jack toward them.
