After hearing some of Mikami Shion's intel, Tao Yu found the place rather interesting. This world was pretty wild, too.

For one thing, in this world fragment, which had become the heart of the Pioneer Zone, quite a few Parasite Beasts were still hiding among the population. There were also rumors of Kayako and Sadako appearing here and there.

In short, it was haunted.

But since they weren't particularly deadly and hadn't caused many deaths, they'd been downgraded in priority, just like the Parasite Beasts that had chosen to lie low. They'd be dealt with if someone happened upon them, but no one was going to make a big show of hunting them down.
