Lightning serpents slithered through the Gray Fog. Star Brilliance Floating City hovered beneath it, seemingly untouched by the annihilation of two clans.
Only the two holes left behind by the blood river that had pierced the Floating City were still being repaired, sparks of electricity flashing as the work continued.
A faint sizzling could still be heard in the air, and lately there had even been a trace of ozone in the smell.
Though some time had passed, representatives of various teams still occasionally came and went from Star Brilliance. In a roundabout way, they were bringing the city some economic benefits.
This was especially true for the poor folk in the Outer City. Even the occasional visitor letting a few benefits slip their way could be enough to change their lives.
And after Star Brilliance changed hands, Tao Yu's background in the Outer City had brought some improvements. He couldn't completely transform the Outer City's circumstances, of course.
