"I'm satisfied." Amamiya Natsuki knew when to yield. He raised his hands and said, "I'll get moving right away."
"..."
To find Shoko, he needed some direction. He couldn't just wander around like a headless fly. The town wasn't huge, but it wasn't small, either. If he accidentally went the wrong way, he'd waste both time and energy.

Amamiya Natsuki simply turned and headed deeper into the residential complex.

The streets were long neglected, and an air of desolate decay hung over everything. As Amamiya Natsuki walked, he could hear nothing but his own footsteps. Every so often, furtive figures darted past in the darkness.
Amamiya Natsuki paid them no mind and kept walking. Combining the map with Mrs. Kato's recollections, he soon found the pachinko parlor in town.

It was a horror-themed shop, yet it still ran a pachinko parlor. Did anyone actually come here to play?
Amamiya Natsuki walked to the entrance and peered inside curiously. The screens of all kinds of machines flashed, and the place was surprisingly lively, filled with all sorts of bizarre customers.
"Half the guy's head is missing, and he still came to play pachinko..." Amamiya Natsuki glanced at one of the customers by the entrance and couldn't help commenting, "As expected, gamblers can't kick the habit even after they're dead."
