History

The Immortal World was one of nine worlds created by Dao Source Destiny Persons in an ancient era. The other eight disappeared simultaneously, though Dragon Spirit believed they had only been concealed by an extraordinary power. 606

Before its later transformations, the world was separated from the lower realm by World Barriers and the Dao Severing Scythe. The reopening of the Small Immortal Realm further severed the lower realm’s Great Dao, while certain Immortal World figures sought to exploit the breach to escape what Star Emperor called the Immortal World’s “great prison.” 286 379 529

The world entered a prolonged crisis as Chen Xuan’s rise disrupted its established order. His ignition of divine fire caused the Dao Severing Scythe to strike the Immortal World and ruptured World Barriers across numerous regions. 601 The God Race later demanded the faith of its living beings, while Heize Divine Son gained control over the Great Dao Origin of the Immortal World. 1077 1121

Chen Xuan eventually refined the fading spirit of the Immortal Realm Great Dao Will and used the resulting method to re-establish Immortal Dao. The World Seed created in this process revived the Great Xuanhuang World and set it on a path toward absorbing and merging with other worlds. 1141 1143

Geography and Structure

• The Immortal World is divided into one hundred domains, each still incomparably vast; Zhu Yan Domain is considered among the lowest-ranked due to its barren resources. 531
• It is larger than the Nine Great Heaven Domains of the lower realm, while its outer borders lead into unknown regions that even Immortal Emperors avoid lightly. 752
• Its terrain includes immortal mountains, springs, waterfalls, rare flora, blood-soaked wildernesses, ancient altars, vast rivers, immortal islands, and secret realms. 286 752
• World Barriers normally isolate it from lower realms. The Ancient Divine Boat can breach these barriers temporarily, though such crossings draw the Dao Severing Scythe’s obstruction. 529 530

Reopening of the Small Immortal Realm

The Fountain of Youth Immortal sought to reopen the Small Immortal Realm using Primal Dragon Source Blood Essence. This plan alerted Immortal World figures including Star Emperor and Feng Baiyu, and later enabled Tantai Mingyue’s descent into the lower realm to hunt Dragon Clan remnants. 286 381 416

Chen Xuan’s First Entry

Chen Xuan entered through the Ancient Divine Boat under a forty-nine-day concealment limit. The voyage visibly tore through the World Barrier, but the Dao Severing Scythe damaged the boat in response. 529 530

Immortal World Upheaval

Chen Xuan’s rise to godhood and the destruction of the Dragon Slaying Clan stirred the entire realm. His actions attracted Immortal Emperors, Immortal Lords, the Dragon Slaying Grand Alliance, and numerous factions seeking his treasures or death. 590 603 787 1027

Immortal Dao Restoration

After the Immortal Realm Great Dao Will’s spirit began fading, Chen Xuan refined it and re-established Immortal Dao through the World Seed. The resulting revival threatened the God Realm’s dominance and made the Great Xuanhuang World the center of the conflict between Immortal Dao and Divine Dao. 1141 1143 1171

Formation of Successor Realms

The Three Thousand Great Worlds later fused into the God Sealing Immortal Realm. It evolved into the Great God Sealing Immortal Realm, absorbed major resources including the Nine Nests and Heaven’s Grave, and was finally replaced by the Human Emperor Realm. 1360 1526 1607
