Chen Xuan was abandoned in a mass grave as a child and raised by a Scavenger Elder. At age nine, Ji Yaoyue discovered his talent, brought him to the Vast Sword Sect, and accepted him as a disciple of Jade Maiden Peak. He trained relentlessly for more than thirty years to earn recognition from his master and four senior sisters. 1 23

He joined the sect’s dangerous Demon Hunting Squad in Ji Yaoyue’s place and emerged from repeated life-or-death trials as the wielder of an unprecedented Ninth-Grade Golden Core. After losing his cultivation and becoming crippled, he awakened the dormant True Dragon Heart within himself, regaining hope of cultivation. 1
