Emissary of the Colossus Civilization

At times like this, whenever the Director-General spoke, someone would always echo him.

After all, he was the leader of the ruling party and held the greatest influence within the cabinet.

But today... unexpectedly, no one spoke.

It was not as though religious proposals had never come up before, but there had never been such silence.

Perhaps the conflict was sharp, but none of these federal cabinet ministers would feel afraid.

The Director-General could probably understand his colleagues' feelings.

"Since no one is willing to be the first to stick their neck out, I'll state my position directly... everything unknown is merely a field science has yet to explore. No objections, gentlemen?"

This was the fundamental premise. Otherwise, they would be denying science and denying the foundation upon which the federal government existed.

If that foundation were truly overturned, it might still be called the Blue Star Federation, but everyone present would lose all their power.

They might want to receive the blessings of gods, but they certainly did not want to lose everything like this.

"The Director-General is right." The Minister of Defense coughed twice before agreeing. "We are not alone in this. We need to be more cautious.

However... I am not personally opposed to religion. I do not support an extreme response."

What he feared now was that certain people would get carried away and try to obtain everything they wanted through war.

Under normal circumstances, that would have been the right choice, but... what if gods really were beyond science?

If the Angel Civilization had merely used some special technology to create gods, the Blue Star Federation would not be afraid. As long as they had a direction, they would eventually uncover this unknown field.

What they feared was that they might truly be gods. If
