Background / History

Kuafu is among the Houtu Tribe warriors who intervene when Lin Xuan is critically injured after fighting the Fierce Beast Zhen. He carries the wounded Lin Xuan back to the tribe on his back, allowing him to receive treatment and recover safely 7 9.

During Lin Xuan's recovery, Kuafu regularly brings him food, explains the Houtu Tribe's customs, and accepts his request for a physical spar. Kuafu's superior strength, reactions, and experience expose Lin Xuan's lack of practical combat training, while his advice on fluid force generation gives Lin Xuan a concrete direction for improvement 7 10.

Kuafu supports Lin Xuan's integration into the tribe. He supplies the Fragrant Antelope Beast that becomes the basis for Lin Xuan's successful barbecue, escorts him to the Houtu Tribe's Ancestral Land, and participates in the discussion where Lin Xuan explains the principles of body refinement and force transmission 11 12 13.
