Chapters 551–575 Vol. 6 Read

Ch. 551New Changes in Heaven and Earth

Xuan Qing accepted Hui Xi as his disciple and told him to keep studying life and death, while Fuxi reunited with Nuwa and planned to bring his former followers to Heluo Divine Continent. Shennong faced worsening problems as the Human Race spread into poorer lands, where declining spiritual qi and cultivation threatened its survival.

  • Xuan Qing warned Hui Xi not to distort the rules of life and death, accepted him as a disciple, and told him to seek him at Hua Xu Mountain after gaining further understanding.
  • Fuxi reunited with Nuwa, who welcomed Queen Mother of the West as family and urged Fuxi to establish Heluo Divine Continent as a second ancestral land for the Human Race.
  • Nuwa reminded Fuxi to gather the people who had served him, and Fuxi prepared to return to the Human Race and visit the ancestral land.
  • Shennong promoted the Five Grains and discovered that distant tribes, especially those near the Western Lands, were abandoning the Holy Mother and worshipping the Western saints.
  • Human Dao's manifestation changed the distribution of spiritual qi as the Human Race expanded into poorer regions, where declining aptitude and cultivation made people vulnerable to illness and disasters.
  • The Human Race's upper ranks warned Shennong that the worsening conditions could cause another devastating blow unless they were resolved soon.

Ch. 552Another Unexpected Change

Shennong left the Human Race’s center to seek a cure for its disease, while Xuan Qing guided Hui Xi to reconsider what the Human Dao meant. Xuan Qing then gave Laozi Spiritual Treasures for Shennong before the Heavenly Dao appeared over Golden Ao Island, where Tongtian had apparently succeeded at something that provoked it.

  • Shennong left with Xuandu to search personally for a cure, and Xuan Qing and Hui Xi stopped the Human Race elders from pursuing him.
  • Xuan Qing took Hui Xi among the Human Tribes and taught him that ordinary people’s happiness could also be their Dao, while the Human Dao reflected the will of all living beings.
  • Xuan Qing sealed Hui Xi’s Magic Power and sent him off to travel among the Human Race, then went to Shouyang Mountain and gave Laozi Spiritual Treasures for Shennong.
  • The Heavenly Dao’s Eye appeared above Golden Ao Island, and Xuan Qing and Laozi went there to see what Tongtian had done.
  • Yuanshi, The Two from the West, Nuwa, Houtu, Fuxi, and Queen Mother of the West arrived on Golden Ao Island, where Fuxi thanked Xuan Qing for saving his life.

Ch. 553Heavenly Dao's Fury, the Prehistoric Era Trembles

Tongtian attempted to reclaim his Dao Fruit from the Heavenly Dao Origin and achieve Primordial Chaos Great Luo, provoking the Heavenly Dao’s wrath. Xuan Qing blocked the Heavenly Dao’s lightning and proposed a compromise, leaving Tongtian’s fate unresolved.

  • Xuan Qing told Fuxi and the others that Tongtian had condensed a Dao Flower and achieved Primordial Chaos Great Luo.
  • Tongtian pulled a golden thread toward the Heavenly Dao Origin, and the Heavenly Dao threatened to destroy him unless he abandoned his path.
  • Tongtian refused to give up and poured his essence, energy, and spirit into his Dao Flower, freeing half of his Dao Fruit from the Heavenly Dao Origin.
  • The Heavenly Dao summoned Purple Cloud Divine Thunder to strike Tongtian, but Xuan Qing’s green Lotus Throne blocked the lightning.
  • Xuan Qing urged the Heavenly Dao to spare Tongtian and proposed letting him achieve Primordial Chaos Great Luo while keeping his True Spirit in the Heavenly Dao Origin Space.

Ch. 554Tongtian's Success

Tongtian broke through to the Primordial Chaos Great Luo realm with Xuan Qing’s help, but remained a Heavenly Dao Saint with his True Spirit bound to the Heavenly Dao. Xuan Qing explained why the other Saints could not follow his path, and Laozi chose to continue cultivating as a Saint.

  • After the Heavenly Dao stopped Tongtian’s True Spirit, Xuan Qing urged him to break through, and Tongtian merged his Dao Fruit into the Dao Flower and entered the River of Great Dao.
  • The Heavenly Dao warned Tongtian that he remained a Saint beneath its control, then departed as the divine thunder vanished.
  • Tongtian thanked Xuan Qing and Hongjun, while Xuan Qing refused to retrieve Tongtian’s True Spirit from the Heavenly Dao.
  • Zhunti and Jieyin left Golden Ao Island in alarm, and Tongtian dismissed Yuanshi’s anger toward them.
  • Yuanshi asked whether the other Saints could break free of the Heavenly Dao, and Xuan Qing explained that their cultivation paths made Tongtian’s method fatal for them.
  • Laozi accepted that he should continue along the path of Sainthood, and Xuan Qing suggested that a future transformation of Heaven and Earth might change the Saints as well.

Ch. 555Yao Ji's Birth

Xuan Qing told the Saints that the Prehistoric Era’s changes were strengthening heaven and earth, and allowed Laozi and Yuanshi to pursue Auspicious Qi so long as they respected his limits. As Haotian lost control of the Heavenly Court, his newly born sister Yao Ji suggested seeking help from the Human Race, leaving him eager but unsure how to win Fuxi’s support.

  • Nuwa asked Xuan Qing whether the changes in the Prehistoric Era were good or bad, and he said the stronger Three Daos had made cultivation faster and heaven and earth more stable.
  • Xuan Qing warned Zhen Yuanzi not to pursue Earth Dao God Conferment yet, and the group later left Golden Ao Island.
  • Nanji and Wudang controlled the Heavenly Court while Haotian seethed over being abandoned by its immortals and gods.
  • Yao Ji emerged from Lesser Yin Qi, greeted Haotian and Yaochi, and asked Haotian what was troubling him.
  • Yao Ji advised Haotian to approach the Human Race and enlist Fuxi’s help, and Haotian decided to visit him.
  • Yao Ji cautioned that Fuxi would not oppose two Saints without a compelling reason, leaving Haotian asking how they could win his support.

Ch. 556Haotian's Reincarnation

Haotian split off most of his Primordial Spirit and entered reincarnation after Houtu imposed a delay and a great burden of tribulations. Meanwhile, Shennong continued tasting herbs, married Ting'ao, and had a daughter, while Xuandu returned to Shouyang Mountain to ask Laozi for help.

  • Haotian severed more than half of his Primordial Spirit and cast it into reincarnation, prompting Gonggong and Houtu to investigate his unexpected entry into the Book of Life and Death.
  • Haotian asked Houtu to permit his reincarnation, and Xuan Qing allowed it only after Shennong attained the Dao; Houtu marked Haotian with 108,900 tribulations and sent him into Reincarnation.
  • Shennong continued tasting herbs despite repeated poisonings, and Xuandu's Golden Elixir eventually became less effective against the accumulated toxins.
  • After Xuandu left to seek help, Ting'ao found the unconscious Shennong, cared for him, and later became his wife; they had a daughter named Nüwa.
  • Xuandu returned to Shouyang Mountain and asked Laozi to help save Shennong.

Ch. 557Bestowing Treasures upon Shennong

Laozi gave Xuandu the Shennong Cauldron, the Hundred Herbs Whip, and an Enlightenment Pill for Shennong. After taking the pill and receiving the treasures, Shennong resumed his work with greater safety, while Xuandu discovered that he had a wife and child.

  • Laozi gave Xuandu three treasures from the Dao Venerable and told him not to interfere too much in Shennong's path.
  • Xuandu returned to find Shennong unconscious and fed him the Enlightenment Pill, which purged the accumulated toxins from his body.
  • Shennong awoke feeling renewed, and Xuandu explained that a mighty figure connected to the Human Race had sent the pill.
  • The Shennong Cauldron recognized Shennong as its master, and Xuandu gave him the Hundred Herbs Whip to aid his search for medicinal herbs.
  • Xuandu noticed Ting'ao and a little girl with the same aura as Shennong, then learned that Ting'ao had once saved his life.

Ch. 558Nüwa's Death

Zhunti and Jieyin concealed the heavenly secrets and manipulated events that led the Black Dragon to kill Shennong’s daughter Nüwa. Shennong learned of her death, while Candle Dragon discovered the Dragon Clan had incurred a grave karmic bond with the Human Race; Nüwa’s soul transformed into a shimmering bird.

  • Zhunti and Jieyin targeted Shennong as part of their scheme against the Human Race and concealed the heavenly secrets near the seashore.
  • Nüwa wandered to the sea, where the Black Dragon, consumed by fury, attacked her with a wave and killed her.
  • Nüwa’s body dissipated, leaving a tiny bird-shaped soul essence, and Shennong sensed her death and collapsed in grief.
  • Xuandu caught Shennong and promised to seek revenge and recover Nüwa’s soul.
  • Candle Dragon sensed the Dragon Clan’s Auspicious Qi diminish and ordered an investigation after a blood-red Karma Line connected the clan to the Human Race.
  • The Black Dragon saw Nüwa’s soul transform into a small, shimmering bird and realized she was not gone.

Ch. 559The Human Race's Fury

Nüwa’s death at the Black Dragon’s hands brought the Human Race and Dragon Clan to the brink of war, and their conflict erupted when Candle Dragon refused to revive her or surrender the Black Dragon. As Candle Dragon’s attack threatened the Human Race, Kong Xuan and an unknown red-robed Daoist arrived and stopped it.

  • The Glazed Little Bird began carrying branches into the sea, and Shennong recognized it as Nüwa.
  • Shennong and Xuandu confronted the Dragon Clan, and the Human Race demanded the Black Dragon be handed over for killing Nüwa.
  • Candle Dragon hesitated to surrender the Black Dragon, while Xuandu urged both sides to stay calm and Shennong offered to settle the matter if Nüwa could be revived.
  • Candle Dragon said he could not bring Nüwa back, and the Human Race and Dragon Clan began fighting over the East Sea.
  • Candle Dragon trapped the Human Race with the Law of Time and sent Dragon Clan attacks against them, but Kong Xuan and a red-robed Daoist appeared and stopped the assault.

Ch. 560Seeking Fuxi's Aid

Yan Ling rescued Nüwa from her bird form and took her to Azure Nether Island, while the crisis between the Human Race and Dragon Clan was averted. Xuandu asked Fuxi to seek justice for Shennong, and Fuxi set out as Zhunti realized his scheme had failed.

  • Yan Ling restored Nüwa to human form, promised Shennong they would meet again, and left with Jingwei and Kong Xuan after imprisoning Black Dragon.
  • Candle Dragon withdrew the Dragon Clan and ordered its juniors to stay away from Human Race territory, while Shennong resolved to work toward seeing Nüwa again.
  • Xuandu suspected the Western Lands Saints had plotted against Shennong and went to Heluo Divine Continent to ask Fuxi for help.
  • Fuxi learned what had happened, deduced the heavenly secrets with the River Diagram and Luo Script, and departed to handle the matter.
  • Zhunti realized the Dragon Clan and Human Race had not gone to war and that their Karma Line had been severed, then felt a sudden sense of dread as he tried to leave Mount Sumeru.

Ch. 561Fuxi Battles Two Saints

Fuxi confronted Zhunti over Nüwa’s death and attacked him on Mount Sumeru, prompting the Dao Venerable to move their battle to the Outer Heavens. Fuxi was overwhelmed by Zhunti and Jieyin until Nuwa arrived, healed him, and attacked Zhunti.

  • Fuxi accused Zhunti of scheming against the Human Race and causing Nüwa’s death, while Jieyin denied the charge and tried to drive him away.
  • Fuxi struck Mount Sumeru with the River Diagram and Luo Script, damaging the Buddhist Sect’s buildings before the Dao Venerable transported Fuxi, Zhunti, and Jieyin to the Outer Heavens.
  • Fuxi attacked Zhunti and Jieyin, but the two Saints gained the advantage and knocked away his Twelve-grade Green Lotus.
  • Nuwa arrived, deflected Zhunti’s attack, healed Fuxi, and struck Zhunti’s hand with the Human-Creating Whip, knocking away his Seven Treasures Wonderful Tree.

Ch. 562Nuwa Takes Action

Nuwa punished Jieyin and Zhunti for scheming against the Human Race, while Shennong’s work spread medicinal knowledge and produced a merit-bearing map. The chapter ended with Shennong learning that worship of the Western Saints and miraculous “divine water” had begun spreading among the Human Race again.

  • Nuwa struck Jieyin with the Qiankun Cauldron and lashed Zhunti with the Human-Creating Whip, warning them not to target the Human Race.
  • Luohu told Di Jun that Nuwa’s Primordial Chaos Great Luo realm surpassed the strength of ordinary Saints.
  • Jieyin and Zhunti returned to Mount Sumeru injured, and Jieyin restored their palace before beginning seclusion to heal.
  • Shennong spread knowledge of medicinal herbs among the tribes and created a map of East Sea Continent that became a Post-celestial Merit Spiritual Treasure.
  • Shennong broke through to the Grand Luo Golden Immortal realm, then learned that people were again worshipping the Western Saints and drinking the Bodhisattva’s supposed healing water.

Ch. 563Visiting the Dragon Clan

Shennong and Xuandu devised a plan to counter Western Buddhism’s growing influence by making the Three Tribes totems of the Human Race. Xuandu visited the Dragon Palace to offer the Dragon Clan an alliance, leaving Candle Dragon to consider the terms.

  • Shennong proposed that the Human Race establish tribal totems to oppose the spread of Western Buddhism, and Xuandu approved the idea.
  • Xuandu decided to invite the Dragon Clan, Phoenix, and Qilin Three Races, while Shennong initially objected to including the Dragon Clan because of its past conduct.
  • Xuandu explained that the Human Race’s distant regions might already be under Western influence and argued that the Three Tribes could support the Human Race while restraining one another.
  • Xuandu traveled to the East Sea and met Candle Dragon at the Dragon Palace.
  • Xuandu offered the Dragon Clan a chance to resolve its Karmic Sin by allying with the Human Race as its totem and resisting the spread of Western faith in exchange for the Human Race’s Auspicious Qi and devotion.
  • Candle Dragon fell silent to consider Xuandu’s proposal.

Ch. 564Alliance Between the Three Tribes and the Human Race

Xuandu formed an alliance between the Human Race and the Dragon, Phoenix, and Kirin Clans to counter the Buddhist Sect’s influence and help the Three Tribes resolve their Karmic Sin. Their totem blessings spread through the Human Race and drove out the Buddhist teachings, though the chapter warned that events would not remain so simple.

  • Candle Dragon debated the alliance with the Dragon Clan’s higher-ups, then agreed and sent the Dragon Clan to aid the Human Race.
  • Ancestor Kirin and Ancestor Phoenix each accepted Xuandu’s proposal, and Ancestor Phoenix quickly led his clan to Lie Shan City.
  • Candle Dragon, Ancestor Phoenix, and Lei Xing met with Shennong, heard how the Three Tribes would help cleanse the Buddhist Sect’s influence, and agreed to ally with the Human Race.
  • The Three Tribes’ totem worship spread, giving the Human Race practical blessings and suppressing the Buddhist Sect’s teachings.
  • Shennong and Xuandu watched the changes with satisfaction, while the chapter noted that events would not proceed so easily.

Ch. 565Shennong's Resolve

Shennong resolved to purge the Buddhist Sect despite the cost to human lives, and the Three Tribes began attacking its followers. As Buddhist forces marched toward the Eastern Continent, Qing Feng and Ming Yue blocked them at Longevity Mountain and challenged them to swear they would not harm the Human Race.

  • Shennong grew furious when he learned the Buddhist Sect had incited humans to obstruct the Three Tribes, and Xuandu urged him to make a decisive choice.
  • Remembering Nüwa, Shennong ordered the Three Tribes to clear away anyone obstructing the purge of the Buddhist Sect, and he suppressed human resistance to their attacks.
  • Zhunti learned that the Buddhist Sect's followers were being killed, then sent Buddhas and Bodhisattvas toward the Eastern Continent.
  • Qing Feng and Ming Yue gathered humans to block the Buddhist forces at Longevity Mountain and refused to let them pass without an oath not to harm the Human Race.
  • The Buddhist forces hesitated when Qing Feng demanded the oath, since they had come to pursue the Human Race.

Ch. 566Qing Feng Blocks the Way

Qing Feng and Ming Yue blocked Zhunti’s Buddhist Sect from crossing Longevity Mountain, until Zhunti threatened to destroy the earth veins and Zhen Yuanzi agreed to let them pass. Zhen Yuanzi explained that the passage was part of a trial for the Human Race’s Co-Lord, while the Human Race watched the Buddhist Sect continue toward the Eastern Lands.

  • Qing Feng and Ming Yue held the Buddhist Sect at Longevity Mountain’s entrance while the Human Race stood with them, and Ming Yue gave the Human Race Innate Spirit Fruits.
  • Zhunti arrived and pressed the group down with his Saint’s pressure, but Zhen Yuanzi appeared and countered it.
  • Zhunti threatened to destroy the earth veins to open a passage, leaving Zhen Yuanzi torn between protecting Longevity Mountain and supporting the Human Race.
  • Houtu told Zhen Yuanzi that the passage was part of a trial for the Human Race’s Co-Lord, so Zhen Yuanzi let the Buddhist Sect cross.
  • Zhen Yuanzi told Qing Feng and Ming Yue not to ask about heavenly secrets, while the Human Race fled from Zhunti’s smile.

Ch. 567The Miserable Buddhist Sect Disciples

The Three Tribes fought the Buddhist Sect disciples who had come east, accusing them of exploiting the Human Race and stealing its Auspicious Qi. Zhunti intervened to save his followers, but Ancestor Kirin and Fuxi confronted him and warned him to leave the east.

  • The Dragon Clan drove Buddhist Sect disciples away from the Human Race, then attacked the reinforcements who arrived to help them.
  • Ancestor Phoenix and Lei Xing sent the Phoenix Clan and Kirin Clan to join the battle, and the Three Tribes surrounded and overwhelmed the Buddhist Sect.
  • The Three Tribes nearly killed the Buddhist Sect forces until Zhunti appeared and swept away their attacks with his Saint power.
  • Ancestor Kirin blocked Zhunti and accused the Buddhist Sect of using filthy methods to take the Human Race's Auspicious Qi.
  • Fuxi appeared beside Ancestor Kirin and warned Zhunti to take his followers away or face his intervention; then Fuxi and Ancestor Kirin disappeared.

Ch. 568Drive Them Out

After Zhunti withdrew to the Western Lands, Shennong chose to expel the Humans devoted to the Buddhist Sect rather than continue killing them. The Three Tribes carried them beyond Longevity Mountain, where Zhen Yuanzi’s path led them to the impoverished Western World instead of the Pure Land they expected.

  • Zhunti took the surviving Buddhist Sect disciples back to the Western Lands after refusing their pleas for revenge.
  • Shennong agreed with Xuandu that the Buddhist believers should be driven from Human Race territory to stop them influencing other Humans.
  • Shennong declared the believers no longer part of the Human Race, and the Three Tribes carried them west across the border.
  • Zhen Yuanzi opened a path through Longevity Mountain and sent the believers onward, keeping them away from the Humans there.
  • The believers reached the Western World and were stunned that it lacked the Pure Land they had expected.

Ch. 569Shennong's Materia Medica

After Shennong’s faith-gathering efforts strengthened the Human Race, he broke through to the early Quasi-Saint realm and compiled Shennong's Materia Medica. As his era neared its end, Fu Bao conceived a child beneath an omen of purple lightning, while twelve stars sent their light to nearby tribes.

  • Great demons attacked and devoured most of the humans who had traveled to the Western Lands, while Zhen Yuanzi explained that the Human Emperor had expelled them from the Human Race.
  • The Three Tribes became totems of the Human Race, strengthening its unity and increasing Human Dao Destiny.
  • Shennong reached Grand Luo Perfection, then used the Enlightenment Pill’s power to sever an Obsession and enter the early Quasi-Saint realm.
  • Shennong thanked Xuandu, asked him to watch over the Human Race, and withdrew to compile his knowledge into a medical classic.
  • After more than a dozen Kalpas, Shennong completed Shennong's Materia Medica.
  • Fu Bao conceived after seeing purple lightning coil around the Northern Dipper Pivot Star, and twelve beams of starlight descended upon tribes near the You Xiong Tribe.

Ch. 570Chi You and the Human Emperor Are Born

Houtu sent Chi You to be born among the Human-Witches and oppose the coming Human Emperor, while Hong Yun’s True Spirit reincarnated alongside him. As Shennong neared his achievement, Guang Chengzi set out to guide the third Human Emperor and reached the You Xiong Tribe just after the child’s birth.

  • Houtu explained that the Witch Clan could resolve its Karma with the Human Race by having Chi You challenge the Human Co-Lord, and she sent him through Reincarnation.
  • Hong Yun’s True Spirit reincarnated alongside Chi You; Chi You rose to become Young Clan Leader of the Jiu Li Tribe, while Cangjie was born in the Hou Gang Tribe.
  • Yuanshi sent Guang Chengzi to guide the third Human Emperor, and Guang Chengzi searched the Human Tribes until he learned that the You Xiong Tribe’s Clan Leader’s wife had been pregnant for over ten thousand years.
  • Auspicious Signs appeared across the You Xiong Tribe as Fu Bao gave birth, and Shao Dian realized his child was the future Human Co-Lord.
  • Guang Chengzi stopped Shao Dian on his way home, learned that the newborn was his child, and decided to follow him.

Ch. 571Changes in the Human Race

Xuanyuan rose to power as the future Co-Lord of the Human Race, while other formidable leaders emerged among its tribes. Shennong completed Shennong's Materia Medica but faced a difficult choice among several candidates to succeed him.

  • Shao Dian learned that his son Xuanyuan was the future Co-Lord, and Guang Chengzi identified himself as a disciple of Sage Yuanshi who would guide the child.
  • A thousand years later, Xuanyuan became Clan Leader of the You Xiong Tribe and grew stronger under Guang Chengzi's instruction.
  • Xuanyuan defeated the leaders of twelve neighboring tribes in single combat, brought their tribes into the You Xiong Tribe, and spread his reputation across the Human Race.
  • Chi You rose to prominence in the south, Gu Sha established the Gu Rong Tribe in the north, and a genius of the Three-Headed Blood River Tribe devised a Formation that harnessed the Blood Sea.
  • Shennong passed Shennong's Materia Medica to the Human Race and learned from his subordinates that Xuanyuan, Chi You, and Gu Sha were all possible successors as Co-Lord.

Ch. 572Xuanyuan's Extraordinary Talent

Xuanyuan developed powerful formations to unite the Human Race's fighting forces, rapidly gaining a reputation that surpassed Chi You and Gu Sha. Seeing that Xuanyuan had become a serious contender for Co-Lord, Shennong set out from Lie Shan City to meet him.

  • Shennong chose Xuanyuan as the most suitable Co-Lord candidate, while Guang Chengzi realized Xuanyuan needed to unite the Human Race rather than simply overpower its tribes.
  • Xuanyuan explained that formations could combine the strength of many people, so Guang Chengzi sought a formation method from Primordial Heavenly Venerate.
  • Xuanyuan quickly mastered the Strange Gates and Hidden Stems technique and asked Guang Chengzi for help making a formation with the twelve brothers and the Star Lords.
  • Immortal Nanji obtained Astral Uncut Jade from Chang'e, who said Empress Wang Shu had approved Xuanyuan's request.
  • Xuanyuan used the jade to create the Twelve Star Lords Grand Formation and organized the Human Race's armies into formations, raising his reputation above Chi You and Gu Sha.
  • Shennong learned of Xuanyuan's growing reputation and left Lie Shan City to meet him.

Ch. 573Shennong Abdicates

Shennong chose Xuanyuan as the next Human Race Co-Lord and gave him a thousand years to prepare, stirring opposition among several tribes. At the abdication ceremony in Lie Shan City, the gathered Saints and factions revealed deep divisions as Yuanshi considered how to catch up with Laozi and Tongtian.

  • Shennong disguised himself as an old farmer, reached the You Xiong Tribe, and spent the night advising Xuanyuan on the responsibilities of a Co-Lord.
  • Shennong declared that he would pass the position to Xuanyuan in a thousand years, prompting widespread unrest and opposition from the Jiu Li Tribe, the Gu Rong Tribe, and other tribes.
  • Chi You accepted the chance to challenge Xuanyuan after Shennong's departure, while Gu Sha forbade his clansmen from questioning Shennong and ordered them to attend the abdication ceremony.
  • Representatives from nearly every Human Tribe and the Heavenly Dao Saints gathered in Lie Shan City for Shennong's abdication ceremony, where Tongtian glared angrily at the Western Two Saints.
  • Ancestor Kirin teased Yuanshi about Chan Sect guiding the next Co-Lord, while Yuanshi resolved to pursue greater power rather than fall behind Laozi and Tongtian.

Ch. 574Merit Completion, Xuanyuan Takes the Throne

Shennong abdicated the position of Human Race Co-Lord to Xuanyuan, and the Human Dao bestowed rewards that cleansed the Three Tribes of their karmic sin and restored their destiny. After sharing merit and giving the Human Race his final instruction, Shennong departed, leaving Xuanyuan to lead the Human Race into a new era.

  • Shennong left the Human Race after urging its people to cultivate virtue and strive without end, beginning the era of the third Co-Lord.

Ch. 575New Changes in the Heavenly Dao!

After Shennong handed authority to Xuanyuan, heaven and earth began transforming, prompting Xuan Qing to question the Heavenly Dao about the changes. The Heavenly Dao revealed that immortals and mortals would be separated as countless worlds converged on the Prehistoric Era, and that it hoped to become the spirit of the Origin of Supreme Destiny once the world was complete.

  • Shennong departed Lie Shan City with his officials and handed authority to Xuanyuan, then greeted Sui Ren Shi outside the city.
  • Fuxi appeared, welcomed Shennong, and said he would meet them in the Heluo Divine Continent when Shennong attained the Dao.
  • Heaven and earth changed rapidly, alarming cultivators and driving the Saints to seek answers from the Dao Ancestor.
  • Xuan Qing left the Human Race and met Hongjun in Zixiao Palace, where he summoned the Heavenly Dao to explain the transformation.
  • The Heavenly Dao said the changes would separate immortals and mortals, create a Primordial Immortal Realm, and bring countless worlds toward the Prehistoric Era.
  • The Heavenly Dao revealed it hoped to separate from its current role and become the spirit of the Origin of Supreme Destiny, while Xuan Qing reassured the regretful Hongjun that the completed world might offer him a chance to advance beyond a Heavenly Dao Saint.
