• An overwhelming pressure swept across the Prehistoric Era, forcing even Golden Immortals and Ancestral Witches to kneel, while Azure Nether Island's formation shielded its inhabitants.
• Hongjun proclaimed that he had become a Saint and invited those fated to hear his teachings at Zixiao Palace three thousand Kalpas later.

The three left together for Zixiao Palace, while Luohu lamented that Xuan Qing had ruined his chance to exploit their conflict.

• Luohu returned to the Demon Realm after submitting to Xuan Qing and the others’ pressure.
• Hongjun welcomed Xuan Qing and Yang Mei to Zixiao Palace and revealed that the Heavenly Dao regarded Xuan Qing as the incarnation of Supreme Destiny.

• The Three Pure Ones entered the Outer Heavens under Laozi's protection, and a Grand Unity Golden Immortal was annihilated by the Chaos energy flow.

• Laozi told Yuanshi to stop provoking the others, and Hong Yun's arrival eased the awkward mood.
• Di Jun, Tai Yi, and the Ancestral Witches arrived ready to fight, but Haotian warned them that private fighting was forbidden in Zixiao Palace.
• The Three Pure Ones, Nuwa, Hong Yun, and Kunpeng claimed the six front-row cushions, while Fuxi and Zhen Yuanzi sat behind their companions as protectors.
• Jieyin and Zhunti rushed into Zixiao Palace at the last moment and saw that the front-row cushions were taken.
• Zhunti wept and lamented their hardships to stir sympathy, while Nuwa suspected the brothers were pretending in hopes of obtaining a cushion.

Zhunti won Hong Yun’s meditation cushion by feigning despair, then joined Jieyin in forcing Kunpeng from his seat. Haotian stopped Kunpeng from retaliating, leaving him to retreat to the second row and resent Yuanshi.

• Zhunti pretended he would kill himself, and Hong Yun gave him his meditation cushion despite Zhen Yuanzi’s objections.
• Zhunti took the seat and thanked Hong Yun, who regretted giving it up but accepted the decision.
• Zhunti demanded that Kunpeng yield his seat to Jieyin, and Yuanshi insulted Kunpeng as a damp-born egg-layer and furred, armored beast.
• Zhunti knocked Kunpeng from his cushion with the Seven Treasures Wonderful Tree, and Jieyin took the seat.
• Haotian forbade fighting in the Saint’s Dao field, so Kunpeng retreated to the second row and glared resentfully at Yuanshi.

Hongjun preached in Zixiao Palace, and the gathered beings later followed their opportunities to Zhou Mountain. They waited before a Formation that would open only when all the destined people arrived.

• Kunpeng blamed Hong Yun for his troubles, and Zhen Yuanzi warned Hong Yun to be careful.
• Hongjun appeared in Zixiao Palace, announced three sermons, and began preaching the Dao.
• Hongjun explained cultivation realms and methods for Golden Immortal and Grand Unity Golden Immortal cultivation before ending the sermon.
• After leaving the Dao Field, Zhu Rong complained about the sermon, and Tai Yi mocked the Ancestral Witches.
• Nuwa sensed an opportunity at Zhou Mountain, Hong Yun sensed one there too, and the Three Pure Ones arrived before a Formation that resisted their attempt to break it.

The great powers gathered at Zhou Mountain to claim the seven gourds, which chose Laozi, Yuanshi, Tongtian, Nuwa, Hong Yun, and Tai Yi, while Hongjun took the last one. Nuwa seized the Gourd Vine and Nine Heavens Breathing Soil, then left with Fuxi after intimidating the remaining powers.

• Di Jun proposed dividing the seven gourds, but the great powers argued over how to share them and drove Jieyin and Zhunti away.
• The ripened gourds chose Laozi, Yuanshi, Tongtian, Nuwa, Hong Yun, and Tai Yi; Kunpeng was repelled when he tried to grab one and flew north in humiliation.
• Hongjun's giant hand took the final gourd before East King Duke could claim it.

After Nuwa brought the dying Gourd Vine to Xuan Qing, it revived as a Chaos Spiritual Root and triggered a surge of power that swept him into Chaos. Nuwa returned to cultivate while Xuan Qing underwent a transformation in Chaos, and Hong Yun finished refining his red gourd into a new treasure.

• Hong Yun discovered that his red gourd contained forty-eight Innate Dao Patterns, while Tongtian recognized that his own gourd could become a Top-grade Innate Spiritual Treasure, and the Three Pure Ones returned to Kunlun Mountain.
• Nuwa asked Xuan Qing how to refine her golden gourd and showed him the Gourd Vine she had taken from Zhou Mountain.
• Xuan Qing found that the Gourd Vine still had a trace of vitality, brought it and Nuwa to Divine Water Lake, and watched it revive by absorbing Chaos Qi.

After more than two thousand Kalpas of cultivation, the Three Pure Ones explored Kunlun Mountain and discovered several treasures. Tongtian took the sentient pagoda Duobao as his disciple, and he entered a mysterious passage while his brothers waited outside.

• Taiqing Laozi broke through to Peak Zenith Heaven Golden Immortal, and Yuanshi suggested that the brothers explore Kunlun Mountain.
• Tongtian broke a Formation and found the Heart-Piercing Lock and a sentient treasure pagoda.
• Tongtian spared the pagoda and named it Duobao, his eldest disciple, while Laozi reassured him and Yuanshi agreed to divide future finds fairly.
• The Three Pure Ones discovered an Immortal Apricot, which Yuanshi took, and Tongtian uncovered Nine Heavens Breathing Soil beneath it.
• A hidden passage appeared, and Tongtian entered it to investigate while Laozi and Yuanshi remained outside.

Tongtian accidentally emerged from a passage into Queen Mother of the West’s Dao Field and was mistaken for peeping at Xuan Nü while she bathed. After clearing up the misunderstanding, he brought Laozi and Yuanshi over to help decide what to do with the passage, and they considered protecting it with Formations rather than destroying it.

• Tongtian passed through the passage and startled Xuan Nü while she was bathing, then Queen Mother of the West stopped him as he tried to leave.
• Tongtian explained that he had arrived by accident through a passage from Kunlun Mountain, and Queen Mother of the West and Xuan Nü confirmed the passage’s residual aura.
• Queen Mother of the West asked Tongtian how to destroy the passage without harming the Immortal God Tree, and Tongtian summoned Laozi and Yuanshi for help.
• Tongtian proposed using Yuanshi’s Nine Heavens Breathing Soil to protect the tree, but Yuanshi suggested keeping the passage and securing it with Formations.
• Laozi endorsed Yuanshi’s plan to turn the passage into a protected teleportation route, and Tongtian became interested in studying it.

Lei Li brought Laozi and Yuanshi to Kirin Cliff and asked the Three Pure Ones to shelter the declining Kirin Clan from further harm. Yuanshi accepted the Central Wuji Apricot Yellow Banner in exchange for allowing the Kirin Clan to dwell on Kunlun Mountain.

• Tongtian stayed at West Kunlun to study the one-way passage while Laozi and Yuanshi returned toward Kunlun Mountain.
• Lei Li stopped Laozi and Yuanshi and invited them to Kirin Cliff to discuss a transaction.
• Lei Li told them that the Kirin Clan had once been a protagonist of heaven and earth but had declined after a devastating war.

In a hidden valley, the figure mourned the loss of his beasts and contacted Karma, who questioned Shanhai about Xuan Qing before cutting off their connection.

• Gu Diao revealed that his lord had sent the beasts to seize Zhen Yuanzi's Earth Book, apparently to complete a scroll.
• The Earth Book reacted to the mention of the scroll, and Zhen Yuanzi suspected it was an incomplete Spiritual Treasure sought by the mysterious figure.
• Gu Diao described his lord as someone above the Grand Luo Golden Immortal realm, and Zhen Yuanzi spared him but sealed him to keep him as a future guide.
• Hong Yun and Zhen Yuanzi continued their journey after Hong Yun pledged to help punish the figure who had targeted his fellow Daoist.
• The mysterious figure discovered that most of the Mountain Sea beasts had died and blamed Gu Diao for ruining his plan.

After glimpsing Earth Star and sensing a call from the Chaos Depths, he summoned a river with the Dao Coffin of Time and Space, only to be ambushed by a streak of light that diverted toward the River of Time and Space.

• Xuan Qing's Dao Seed blossomed into a Dao Flower, transforming his True Spirit and drawing laws into his body as Yang Mei noticed the upheaval in the River of Great Dao.
• A mysterious river revealed Xuan Qing's past and an image of Earth Star, but an axe light severed it before he could look closer.
• After forty-nine Kalpas, Xuan Qing completed his breakthrough, formed an Immeasurable Dao Body, and reached the third level of Primordial Grand Luo Golden Immortal.
• Xuan Qing used the Dao Coffin of Time and Space to summon what first appeared to be the River of Time, and a streak of light attacked him from within it.

After breaking through, Xuan Qing was ambushed by Shichen, Destiny, and Karma but overwhelmed them with the Law of Creation and the God-Slaying Spear. The three escaped, and Xuan Qing sensed the Prehistoric Era through his Dao Fruit and opened a passage back to it.

• Xuan Qing chased a streak of light through the River of Time and Space, pulled it out before it could reach his past self, and sealed the river.
• Shichen, Destiny, and Karma emerged and attacked Xuan Qing, whose Law of Creation easily dispelled their combined assault.
• Xuan Qing counterattacked with the God-Slaying Spear, prompting Shichen and Destiny to flee while Karma remained behind.

Xuan Qing returned to the Prehistoric Era after attaining the Primordial Chaos Great Luo realm and examined the Four Extremes Land, where he discussed its future development and Earth Dao with Vermillion Bird. He then returned to Azure Nether Island, where Han Xi, Nuwa, and the island’s inhabitants congratulated him on his breakthrough.

• Xuan Qing passed through the Membrane of the Earth and found that the Four Extremes Land had grown greener, though most of it remained barren beyond the Heavenly Pillars.
• Vermillion Bird welcomed Xuan Qing and invited him to the Vermillion Bird Clan’s Sacred Hall, while he studied how the Four Pillars had shaped the land.

Hongjun described the realms beyond Grand Luo and the different paths toward attaining the Dao, leaving the guests wondering whether they could pursue the Primordial Origin Golden Immortal path.

• Xuan Qing reassured Nuwa that her role in the Gourd Vine incident had helped him break through to the Primordial Grand Luo Golden Immortal realm.
• Hongjun summoned the three thousand guests to Zixiao Palace, while Ran Deng secretly took a slain guest's place and Houtu set out with Xuan Ming despite her brothers staying behind.
