Background
Zhang Mingzhen lost both parents in a car accident shortly after his college entrance examination. The accident also cost him the use of his legs, leaving him isolated at home and unable to live normally outside. His initial interest in God's Domain was closely tied to the possibility that in-game growth could restore his body—and perhaps eventually offer a way to revive his parents. 330 332 335
He entered God's Domain as the Priest Chongxing. Unknown to him, Gao Linzhi had deliberately given him the exceptional Yin Yang Messenger talent because Zhang was another transmigrator and could provide future value. 332 334
The game gradually restored his mobility and physical condition. By the time he ordered a new gaming pod, medical testing classified his physical functions and cell activity as good or above standard; later, he could walk and run freely. 341 352
Appearance
In-game, Zhang Mingzhen initially used a Faceless Mask to conceal his identity and status information. When leading paid dungeon teams, he was seen as a lean, capable-looking man around 1.8 meters tall with an intentionally ordinary face. 338 353
- Often wore the Faceless Mask to hide identifying information. 338
- Later revealed his in-game name and appearance for business credibility while retaining the mask's information-hiding effect. 355
- His later equipment, including the Mistshadow Set and Immortal Armament, gave him a darker, more imposing appearance. 400
Personality
Zhang Mingzhen is cautious, private, and strongly self-reliant. His disability, isolation, and past experiences left him deeply distrustful of authorities and relationships built around profit. He prefers solo play, avoids revealing unnecessary information, and rejects attempts to bind him to exclusive arrangements. 341 376 417
He is pragmatic about wealth and power. He runs paid dungeon carries, auctions excess equipment, and trades his unique advantages for resources that benefit him directly. Even when guilds offer him cooperation, he maintains his independence rather than becoming attached to any one faction. 350 388 417
Despite his detachment, he is not wholly indifferent. He secretly saved Chen Suxin after her self-sacrifice reminded him of his deceased parents, then sent his Azure-Scaled Dragon Python to end Ling City's snake-beast crisis. 394
Abilities & Skills
Yin Yang Messenger
Zhang Mingzhen's defining talent grants him traits of both Radiant and Shadow Priests, making him fundamentally stronger than ordinary players of his class. 332
- Possesses base attributes more than twice those of an ordinary Priest. 332
- Receives three times the normal attribute and Skill Points when leveling. 334
- Can activate and benefit from two equipment sets at once. 342
- Has an extremely long spell range, enabling covert long-range healing. 394
Sacrifice / Self-Sacrifice
When his health falls below ten percent, Zhang can enter a three-second invincible state. During this period, healing is disabled, but he can unleash devastating true damage before his health is restored to full. 334
- Deals true damage to all targets within ten meters at a value equal to one hundred times his healing ability. 334
- Ignores defense and damage-reduction effects. 334
- Can normally be used once every twenty-four hours. 334
- Triggered during his battle against the demon possessing Xi Feng, giving him the opening needed to recover and counterattack. 469
Healing and Support Magic
Although a Priest, Zhang's unusually high Spirit and healing power allow him to sustain himself and allies through content that overwhelms ordinary teams.
- Spring Wind / Spring Breeze — His core single-target healing spell; at Level 10, it heals for 500% of Spirit and applies Gentle Rain, a ten-second healing-over-time effect. 336 360
- Spring Tendrils — Used to heal surrounding players during the Monster Siege. 358
- Summon Flower — Summons a spirit flower that restores mana to nearby allies; Zhang later summons Flower Spirits as autonomous clones. 349 375 431
- Scattered Stars — Randomly heals five nearby friendly targets. 360
- Thousand Mechanisms Meteor — Drains mana from a target and grants five allies temporary Super Armor. 460
Offensive and Control Magic
Zhang invests heavily in offensive skills despite his Priest class, using his surplus Skill Points to maintain both single-target and area-of-effect damage.
- Ling Yue / Spirit Leap — Area-of-effect spiritual damage; at Level 5, it damages all enemies in a twenty-five-meter square three times. 339 372
- Spirit Strike — A rapid offensive spell used in his early boss fights and in combination with Ling Yue. 336 344
- Chasing Wind — A tracking wind blade that can ricochet between enemies and briefly stun targets. 349 358
- Eagle Strike — Summons a white bird that strikes a target three times with knockback effects. 360
- Thorn Entanglement — Binds targets in place while dealing sustained magic damage; particularly effective against flying enemies. 379
- Vine Entanglement — At maximum level, summons three demon vines that restrain a target for three seconds. 469
Defensive Magic
Zhang's defensive abilities compensate for the Priest class's vulnerability and make him difficult to control or eliminate.
- Demon Armor — Removes negative effects and increases physical and magic defense; at higher levels, it can quadruple defenses for himself and nearby allies. 365 467
- Demon Transformation — Removes restraint effects, improves defense and movement speed, and grants powerful control resistance. 365 467
- His equipment and skill set allowed him to survive attacks that dealt more than 40,000 damage during the battle against the demonic entity. 469
Heart of Immortality
Zhang obtained the Fate Gift Heart of Immortality, later referred to as the Heart of Undeath during his battle with the demon. It allows him to revive after death with increased attributes. 400 469
- Revived after both combatants depleted their health during the battle with the demon possessing Xi Feng. 469
- Combines especially well with resurrection medicine and his defensive abilities. 400
Pets and Clones
- Azure-Scaled Dragon Python — Juvenile battle pet capable of manifesting in reality; it eradicated most of Ling City's snake beasts. 366 394
- Flower Spirit — Autonomous clone capable of moving and attacking independently; Zhang later used multiple Flower Spirits to protect and train pets. 375 379 431
- Bee Queen — Tamed after Zhang used a Pet Luring Potion; its swarm serves as an additional real-world defensive force around his residence. 396
Equipment / Weapons / Items
- Faceless Mask — Conceals basic information and status panels from other players. 338
- Demon-Suppressing Belt — Mysterious Iron belt that grants Constitution and Spirit and can generate a protective shield when Zhang is hit. 344
- Radiant Staff — Silver Priest weapon that increases Spirit, Intelligence, critical-hit chance, combo frequency, and the effectiveness of attacks and healing. 358
- Flying Wings — Synthesized from ninety-nine Feather Plumes; made Zhang the first player to obtain a flying device. 383
- Mistshadow Set — Defensive clothing set that reduces his presence and makes wild magical beasts less likely to notice him. 385
- Demon King Crystal Necklace — Gold-grade Priest necklace with major Spirit and Intelligence bonuses, enhanced critical healing, mana recovery, and increased boss damage. 370
- Immortal Armament — Upgradeable Priest weapon set consisting of the Staff of Silent Extinction and Secret Scroll of Eternal Sleep. 400
- Death Scepter — Platinum growth weapon with true damage and enhanced resistance and damage against dark-attribute monsters. 459
- Wonderful Dharma Talisman — Inventory-based universal amulet that increases critical chance, combo rate, experience gain, and Luck. 415
Relationships
- Gao Linzhi — The creator and hidden operator of God's Domain who secretly provided Zhang's exceptional talent and observes him as a potentially useful pawn. 334 371
- Qin Xiao Youhui — Legion Guild representative and recurring dungeon partner. Zhang transferred experience to him in exchange for a Spirit Realm Fish, but rejected exclusive arrangements. 417
- Wandering Arrow — Early temporary teammate who recognized Chongxing's identity and privately intended to exploit their association for personal advancement. 343 344
- Utterly Empty — Wealthy player who paid Zhang for dungeon carries and repeatedly sought his assistance. 350 404
- One Sword Nine Provinces — Accompanied Zhang into the Wolf Barbarian palace and dungeon; Zhang helped him complete his quest but refused to accept him as a disciple. 418 420
- Zhang Mingcheng — NPC whom Zhang escorted to Fragrant Cloud City in exchange for Feather Plumes; provided information about the city. 383
- Chen Suxin and the Zheng family — Zhang secretly saved Chen Suxin during Ling City's snake-beast disaster. The family later discovered his identity and agreed not to reveal where he lived. 394 436
- Azure-Scaled Dragon Python — Zhang's battle pet and a major source of his real-world defensive power. 366 394

Trivia
- Zhang considers himself not to be cheating because his advantages were never “turned off.” 470
- He was initially known among other players as “the cheater” due to the gap between his Priest class and his actual damage output. 368
- His primary motivation for becoming stronger is tied to restoring—or potentially resurrecting—his deceased parents. 330 394
- He prefers living away from crowds because he distrusts people more than malfunctioning intelligent machines. 366
