Immortal Sect Assembly

Liu Ruqin first appears while fleeing three cultivators who seek her magical treasure. She defeats her pursuers, then proposes cooperation with Yi Xiaofeng's group for the dangerous Immortal Sect Assembly, arguing that cultivators without like-minded companions are likely to die. Yi accepts the alliance despite Han Yuan's objections. 77

She follows Yi Xiaofeng and Han Yuan into Supreme Valley after the assembly. During the Assessment Secret Realm, she works with them to gather resources, retrieves a Blood Coagulation Mushroom from a swamp, and grows increasingly curious about Yi Xiaofeng's ability to locate hidden opportunities. 82 87

Sword Demon Connection

Liu Ruqin repeatedly speaks in defense of the Sword Demon and displays unusual power during the secret-realm crisis. Although she is identified as only a Foundation Establishment Realm cultivator, she terrifies Peng Lihuo and severs his arm with a descending black Sword Qi while protecting Yi Xiaofeng. She declares him “a disciple favored by the Sword Demon.” 107

At the Sword Tomb, Demonic Qi overtakes her and she transforms into the Sword Demon, publicly challenging Bai Hongxiao, the Sword Saint, to a rematch. Her transformed form battles Bai Hongxiao with strength acknowledged as comparable to the Demon Emperor's. 136

Liu Ruqin's health begins to deteriorate as her vitality inexplicably fades.
