"A coffin?"
Everyone stared at the coffin before them, exchanging bewildered looks.
"Damn, this place really is cursed. The flowers are cursed, the fish is cursed, and now this coffin... is cursed too!" Lu Da rubbed his shiny bald head and stared at the coffin, feeling deeply uneasy.
Wu Man was about to step closer for a better look, but Xiao Ran stopped him. "Don't touch it. This coffin... something's wrong."
Xiao Ran gestured for everyone to stay back, then walked over to inspect the coffin closely. The longer he looked, the more familiar it seemed.
"This coffin..."
Xiao Ran furrowed his brow and glanced back at the lake behind them.
"What is it? Did you figure something out?" Seeing his strange expression, the others pressed him for an answer.
"I've seen this coffin before."
Xiao Ran examined it carefully. "It looks like it came from the Yellow Springs."
That was right. Although it looked like an ordinary coffin, its shape and style seemed strangely familiar to Xiao Ran. He was almost certain it had something to do with the coffins in the Yellow Springs.
Xiao Ran didn't explain further. He motioned for Wu Man to take out the Ginseng Spirit and asked, "I heard you say before that Great Silence Mountain Ridge connects to the netherworld, right?"
"Yes, but I don't know the details. I only heard it from the elders in my clan." The Ginseng Spirit blurted out everything it knew.
It had no choice but to speak up. Even if it kept quiet, if these people died, it would lose its ginseng body and still have no way to escape.
Hearing this, Xiao Ran looked at the Big Fish again. He guessed that the lake before them might be connected to the Yellow Springs in the netherworld.
