How were they supposed to fight the Phantom Knight?
After searching for several days, Gu Yu finally reached the Dark Forest.
The trees here were unlike any other Dusk Tree Species he had seen before.
The Black Trees had dense foliage and enormous canopies. Their iron-like branches crisscrossed overhead, blocking out the sunlight.
Monsters and King Spiders rampaged beneath the trees. With no light reaching the forest floor, almost the only things growing there were saprophytic fungi like Fluorescent Mushrooms.
The Goblin Knight fortress and the Dark Tower were both found in places like this.
A barrier protected the fortress entrance. To unlock it, all you had to do was place any boss trophy inside.
Numerous monsters lurked here, including Slime Beetles, Flame Beetles, Red Cap Goblins, Red Cap Goblins, Goblin Knights...
Only after making it past them would you be qualified to seek out the Phantom Knight.
