Appearance
Alexander is a large, powerfully built man with vivid red hair and a full beard. He wears a large cape patterned in red and gold and commonly stands aboard his divine bull-drawn chariot. 19

Personality
The Conqueror King is loud, bold, optimistic, and openly proud of his status. He announces his identity without hesitation, considers those unwilling to reveal their names unworthy of kingship, and offers other Servants a share of the Holy Grail if they submit to him. 19
His ideal of kingship centers on shared ambition rather than solitude. He believes a king must be more human, more openly desirous, and capable of inspiring followers to pursue the same dream. 35
Despite his arrogance, he recognizes courage in others. He encourages Weber to step forward rather than hide, praises Saber’s ability to alter his chariot’s trajectory, and comes to admire her refusal to surrender against overwhelming odds. 22 34 36

Arrival in the Holy Grail War
Alexander interrupts Xia and Saber’s duel by descending from the sky in his chariot and introducing himself as the King of Conquerors. 18 He immediately asks the gathered Servants what they seek from the Holy Grail, then offers to share it with any king willing to submit. 19
King’s Feast
He joins Xia, Artoria, and Gilgamesh at the King’s Feast, drinking Xia’s collected wine and observing the contest of treasures between Xia and Gilgamesh. 27 28 During the banquet, he questions the others about their Grail wishes, drawing out Artoria’s desire to return to the past and choose a better successor for Britannia. 28 29
Conflict and Final Battle
Alexander leads his forces against Xia’s black-armored knights and uses Gordias Wheel, only for the charge to be countered by their death energy. Gilgamesh intervenes to save him from a black battle axe. 32
He later fights Saber directly, praising her skill while challenging her conception of kingship. 34 35 Alexander summons the Army of the King and overwhelms Saber with his army, but her final Excalibur attack destroys the Reality Marble, devastates his soldiers, and leaves him mortally wounded. 35 36 37
