• Suijie used Xu Yi’s transfer to the Third Battalion to negotiate with Kuang Wenyuan, while Xu Yi played both sides during the South Mountain standoff and secured a ten-year pact for two thousand Profound Yellow Essences.
• Xu Yi exposed Kuang Wenyuan’s schemes and Lu Yuan’s capture, causing Kuang Wenyuan to die and Zhang Beiyue to attack him before Xu Yi’s promotion to Venerable Immortal Kongxu was formally announced.

Xu Yi advanced toward the Golden Witch realm, pursued a bid for Wuji Hall’s Deputy Hall Master post, and rescued Qiu Wa and Mu Jin from the Phantom Spirit Sect. At the South Sea Association, he killed the Four Ancestors of the South Sea’s allies, broke through to the Fifth Realm of Divine Diagram, and reunited with Qiu Wa before setting out to take her home.

• Xu Yi defeated Xiong Ben and the Golden and Silver Elders, then used the Five-Colored Bead to destroy Xiao Huan Mountain and the Ancient Forbidden Formation before cultivating with the recovered Witch essence.
• Xu Yi obtained an Ancestor Witch Root from Wang Rongrong, completed his Golden Witch breakthrough, and later agreed to compete for Wuji Hall’s Deputy Hall Master position by passing the Heavenly King’s test.
• Xu Yi traveled to the Southern Territory, found Qiu Wa and Mu Jin drained of their plant spirits, and destroyed the Phantom Spirit Sect before tracking their spirits to the South Sea Association.
• Xu Yi killed Jia Canghai, Feng Teng, Wu Yazhi, and Zhao Wuji, then defeated Fang Xinghai, Guo Huangfeng, and Chen Beixuan after they joined forces against him.

Xu Yi maneuvered through Wuji Hall’s turmoil, displaced Hu Sifeng, and took over as hall master while finding a way to settle the hall’s debts. He built Treasure Gathering City and spent years cultivating before Qiu Wa awakened and began a new life in the Spiritual Plant Garden.

• Xu Yi returned to the Great Yue Realm with Qiu Wa, visited her old home, and reunited her with A Li on Empty Island.
• At Ning Wuyou’s Tassel Gathering, Xu Yi produced the Xuanji Diagram and received her painting, which Suijie used to secure the deputy hall master post.
• Xu Yi became deputy hall master of Wuji Hall, but Hu Sifeng soon took command and demanded Profound Yellow Essence from the officials.
