Lei Dong entered the ancient shrine seeking the Soul Tree and instead gained control of the temple, killed Elder Shadow, and forced White Bone Devil Lord to surrender his cultivation method. He left Lan Qisi among the barbarians and began the long journey back to Kang Prefecture, studying his gains along the way.

• Lei Dong trapped the Three-tailed Spirit Fox, learned of the shrine and its Soul Fruit, then joined forces with the Saintess and White Bone Devil Lord to enter it.
• Inside the shrine, Lei Dong survived its trials, defeated the Unicorn young master, and gained the loyalty of Yi Kong, a Winged God Person bound as his Soul Slave.
• Lei Dong befriended Lei Long, obtained a Soul Fruit, and used the imperial throne to gain partial control of the temple, a Space Sacred Artifact.
• Lei Dong lured Elder Shadow into the temple and had Lei Long kill him, then sealed his Nascent Soul and took his treasures.
• Lan Qisi recognized Lei Dong as the Saint Lord and fought Tantai Bingyun, but Lei Dong refused to make Tantai his servant and was overwhelmed by aphrodisiac poison released by Lei Long.
• Lei Dong strengthened his forces and surrounded White Bone Devil Lord, who surrendered one Soul Fruit, the Xuan Bone Great Law, and his cultivation insights in exchange for a chance at rebirth.
• Lei Dong left Lan Qisi with the barbarians and traveled toward Kang Prefecture, studying the Xuan Bone Great Law and absorbing an ancient cauldron into the Soul Devouring Pagoda.

Lei Dong survived the Great Desert’s Beast Tide, gained the Earth Giants as allies, rescued the Heavenly Devil, and advanced to the Golden Core Stage. Returning to Myriad Ghost City, he uncovered a plot against his family and Myriad Ghost Cave, while the Heavenly Devil captured one of Blood Demon’s agents.

• Lei Dong and his companions fought off Bone-Devouring Vultures, while Ding Wanyan and Qi Feifei dealt with dangers and pursuit in other regions.
• Lei Dong guided a huge Beast Tide toward the Earth Giants, helped them escape, and earned Clan Leader Rock’s trust by offering to support the tribe’s growth.
• Lei Dong and the Heavenly Devil defeated Venerable Demon Subduer with help from the Earth Giants, captured his Nascent Soul, and later killed the pursuing Arhats.
• Lei Dong reunited with Qi Feifei, entered the Golden Core Stage, and learned Tantai Bingyun had left him a concealment technique before returning to her sect.
• Lei Dong returned to Myriad Ghost City in disguise, reunited with his parents, and overheard Blood Demon and Li Yao plotting against his allies and family.
• Lei Dong told Myriad Ghost Ancestor about the plot, offered pills to strengthen him, and arranged to retaliate with his Golden Core allies and Earth Giants.
• The Heavenly Devil stopped an Evil Cultivator attacking the Prince and Princess Zhennan, forced him to swallow a Ghost Gu, and learned his Blood Puppets came from Blood Demon.

Lei Dong killed Li Yao, recruited allies, and ventured into the Nether Domain to obtain rare materials for a stronger Myriad Ghost Banner. After defeating Hu Yan Old Devil and the Mysterious Nether Ice Silkworms, he built his first force there, while the Supreme Sect continued searching for Li Yao’s killer.

• Lei Dong captured Li Yao’s Nascent Soul in the Myriad Ghost Banner, then returned to the Yin Sha Sect and refined Ding Wanyan’s Heavenly Spirit Ghost.
• Lei Dong and Ding Wanyan visited Wang Lei to commission a Top Grade Magic Treasure Myriad Ghost Banner, but learned that its materials were costly and some could only be found in the Netherworld Ghost Domain.
• Lei Dong, Ding Wanyan, Dongfang Fu, and Qi Feifei crossed the Netherworld’s first layers and reached Heaven Ghost City, where the Heavenly Ghost King arranged for them to join a hunt for two Mysterious Nether Ice Silkworms.
• Lei Dong’s group killed one Ice Silkworm, then Lei Dong beat Hu Yan Old Devil when he arrived demanding most of the spoils.
• Lei Dong and his Ghost Servants defeated Hu Yan Old Devil and captured him and several followers, while Lei Dong’s companions killed the remaining Ice Silkworm.
• Lei Dong recruited more than seventy survivors through Ghost Gu, gaining thirteen Golden Core cultivators and establishing his first force in the Nether Domain.
• A Supreme Sect cultivator arrived in Kang Prefecture to investigate Li Yao’s death, while Tu Lei told Lei Dong that the Ghost King had located a lone Nascent Soul devil dragon.

Lei Dong joined the Netherworld Ghost Emperor’s struggle, survived the battle with the Heavenly Ghost Emperor, and gained the Nine Nether Ghost Flame. After helping forge the Netherflame Ghost Banner, he returned to Kang Prefecture and learned that the Heavenly Devil’s duel with the Supreme Sect had become imminent.

• Tu Lei helped Lei Dong’s force attack the wounded Demon Dragon King, but the dragon king’s mate forced them to retreat before the Heavenly Ghost King covered their escape.
• Lei Dong accompanied the Heavenly Ghost King into the Nine Nether Abyss, where their expedition led them into a confrontation between the Heavenly Ghost Emperor and the Netherworld Ghost Emperor.
• Lei Dong protected Xiao You from the Heavenly Ghost Emperor, then joined the battle and used Yin Sha Heavenly Thunders to badly injure his enemy.
• Lei Dong survived the abyss and advanced to Golden Core Mid-tier while Xiao You learned the Nether King Body Tempering Art, and together with their allies he killed the Heavenly Ghost Emperor.
• The Netherworld Ghost Emperor adopted Xiao You as his heir, gave Lei Dong the Nine Nether Ghost Flame, and entrusted him with a Netherworld Token before Lei Dong returned to Kang Prefecture.
• Fan Quqing challenged Tianmo to a life-or-death duel, and the Yin Sha Sect prepared treasures and support for the contest while Lei Dong met Wang Lei on a deserted island.
• Lei Dong helped Wang Lei forge the Netherflame Ghost Banner, enduring nine bolts of heavenly thunder so Wang Lei could complete the Innate Spiritual Treasure.
• Lei Dong refined Yin Souls on his journey back to Great Ding Kingdom, reunited with Zuo Chao, Chen Ge, and Wei Hua, and learned that Tianmo would fight a powerful woman from the Great Gan Continent.
