Yun Zhi is the first disciple of the Silent Daoist and the senior disciple of the Dao Seeking Sect's current generation. Her exceptional talent and administrative ability led to her serving as acting Sect Master while the Sect Master remained in seclusion. Rumors claimed that she had seized power and imprisoned the Sect Master, though her actual relationship with him is openly adversarial: she keeps him confined on Prison Peak. 16 118

She grew up in the Yun clan's Peach Blossom Secret Realm in Shuzhou. The clan has survived there for ten thousand years beside the Immortal River—also called the Mother Child River—which grants Spiritual Roots to girls born through its water. 1383 1386

During her early sect years, Yun Zhi wrote cultivation methods under the names of supposedly discovered ancient arts. When genuine methods with the same names later surfaced, the sect found her versions easier to cultivate and more powerful.
