Chi You revived the Witch Clan’s bid for power as the Human Race survived the Demon Race’s plague and political schemes. Qingyuan strengthened the Netherworld and ultimately killed Myriad Wonders Heavenly Venerate after exposing his betrayal.

• Ying Zhao and Lu Ya planned to undermine the Human Race, while Chi You rallied the surviving Witches and proposed spreading Witch-Human bloodlines to become the third Human Emperor.
• The Demon Race’s plague struck the Human Race, but Great Master Xuandu supplied the ox gall that let Shennong complete his cure, and Fuxi invested Shennong as Earth Sovereign.
• Fuxi and Shennong dismantled the Demon Immortal temples after unrest, restored the Dragon Clan’s cooperation, and established a fair currency system.

Great Sage Dao Venerate preached the Divine Path and Martial Path, then intervened when a plot turned Jingwei’s apparent death into a war between the Human Race and the Dragon Clan. He exposed the conspirators’ alliance with the Demon Race, while the fate of the conflict remained unresolved.

• Qingyuan created Great Sage Dao Venerate, who revealed his Hunyuan Saint power, challenged the Heavenly Dao Saints, and announced that he would teach the Divine Path and Martial Path.
• Great Sage Dao Venerate defeated Nuwa and Lu Ya, forced Lu Ya to pull his carriage, and gathered cultivators and Saints at the Martial Dao Monument for his sermon.
• Great Sage Dao Venerate taught the Divine Path and Martial Path, then released Lu Ya from his service after settling their karma.
• Great Sage Dao Venerate changed an Immortal Stone’s fate, while Nuwa sought it and later accepted Hongjun’s orders to support Chi You’s bid for the Human Emperor’s position.

Fuxi’s campaign against the Demon Race ended in devastating losses, while Shennong stepped down and Jingwei began serving as Meng Po. Daoist Randeng’s feud with the Chan Sect and Goddess Yang Le’s scandal redirected the Primordial Wilderness toward Golden Ao Island, before human lands fractured and a powerful figure emerged from the southern volcanoes.

• Fuxi led the Human Race and Dragon Clan into the Demon Realm, where their armies suffered catastrophic losses before destroying the realm and returning to the East Sea Coast.
• Great Sage Dao Venerate gave the dead warriors’ True Spirits to Pingxin for the Underworld Bureau and arranged for Jingwei to serve as Meng Po, easing Shennong’s guilt.
• Shennong resigned as Human Race Co-Lord, went to Huoyun Cave to suppress Human Race Destiny, and later visited Jingwei at the Bridge of Helplessness.
• Daoist Randeng’s dispute with Juliusun and the Chan Sect escalated after they attacked his dojo, and he left Kunlun to establish a new Spirit Vulture Mountain in the south.

Chi You returned to the Primordial Wilderness, challenged its powerful factions, and was subdued by Great Sage Dao Venerate, who then guided him and Dihong as the next Human Emperor emerged. As Dihong became Xuanyuan, Chi You returned to confront Li Ju, and their forces met at Absolute Soul Valley.

• Chi You returned to the Primordial Wilderness, seized the Phoenix Clan’s ancestral land, and forced factions across the wilderness to submit and surrender resources.
• Chi You attacked the Northern Three Hundred Demon Caves, but Great Sage Dao Venerate defeated him and took him away after Chi You badly injured Qing Moyuan.
• Great Sage Dao Venerate brought Chi You to Qingyuan, who advised Chi You to cultivate the Martial Path, while the Witch Clan settled near the East Sea Coast and Chi You gradually shed his brutality.
• Great Sage Dao Venerate settled with Chi You at Ji Water, where Dihong was born, became his Registered Disciple, and secretly studied the Martial Path with Chi You.
